I've been looking at them this morning and noticed that they actually played Arkansas very well. In fact, they were within 4 points of Arkansas with under 8 minutes remaining, before the Razorbacks pushed out the lead to 16 by the end of the game. Arkansas was up by 11 at the half before Lipscomb made a push in the middle of the 2nd half. The Bisons also played Western KY very well in Bowling Green. Lipscomb led that game by 1 at the half. It was close down the stretch with Lipscomb cutting the lead to 3 with 30 seconds remaining.
Lipscomb has a player who is expected to be the player of the year in the ASun conference. His name is Jacob Ognacevic, from Sheboygan, WI not Eastern Europe. He's a 6-8 220lb senior who has been averaging 20.6pts, 8reb, and he's shoots 40% from 3 for his career. He's similar in many ways to Cooper Flagg- handles and shoots the ball pretty well and is a leader for his team.
Having said all of that, if UK picks up where they left off with Duke, it will be a 20pt+ win. I expect Lipscomb to fight the Cats but it will come down to making those threes for UK. If the Cats are making their shots or forcing turnovers and getting out in transition, it will be lights out pretty early on. I noticed on some video of Lipscomb, they like to play some zone at times. I kinda doubt they will play zone against UK, but if they do, I think it will be trouble. I think the Cats are due a breakout game from 3.
