I think Stanford is still trying to figure out how to stop Sheppard from coming off those screens.

They also changed the tie up rule for a bit because of the end of that game where we retained possession after Standford made a good defensive play to force the tie up. I guess people didn't think us having the possession arrow in our favor was fair.

Took my wife to the Blue Note Jazz Club to see StPaul & the Broken Bones. 200 person venue. Insane. Arturo’s Pizza cheat night to boot. Overnight, I gained 4.5 pounds in coal-fired-crusty-cheesy goodness. First slice(s) in 6 long months. Worth it.

Speaking of Army football…If you haven’t been to an Army football game up at West Point, put it on your bucket list immediately. They are renovating Michie Stadium (thank you Northup, Raytheon, Halliburton👎🏻) and it should be dope next year.

During the Utah national title game I was seduced and eventually lured into a bedroom by a lovely young coed at UK. We were down 10 and I couldn’t have cared less. Ironic, as a year ago, I destroyed my parents TV remote by throwing it into a the wall during the Arizona title game. Priorities had changed.

Blue Note is a great jazz venue. Village Vanguard is even better (though tiny and very cramped) for atmosphere. Birdland is okay. Basically all the rest of the jazz clubs are gone.
