He told me tonight that he's in the process of becoming a preferred walk-on for Kentucky's football team in 2016. He has visited UK many times but not for an official visit. He loves the school and the UK staff has been in a lot of contact with the Colerain staff about him.
I asked him how receptive he would be to the preferred walk-on opportunity and he told me, "Definitely open to it. I will probably accept it. I love everything about the school."
He has sent in his transcripts and has already been accepted to the school.
Johnson had 830 rushing yards and returned some kicks.
