Pardon me if this has been mentioned, but I haven't seen it. Before the season started our coaching staff said that we were currently on a level playing field with our competition due to the recruiting success we have had in the last three years.
Also, there was great discussion among the players and coaches saying to media and fans who would listen, that we had a great offense with many playmakers.
I have always been of the opinion that one should never tell someone how good you are and what you're going to accomplish. Show me what you can do then talk about it all you want.
I did not believe it when it was said prior to the season and I certainly don't believe it now. When you do that sort of thing and try to make people believe how good you are, most of the time it works out just like it is for our Football team right now.
That was the first mistake made by this coaching staff this year. They continue to make poor decisions.
Hopefully they learn from these mistakes and mistakes they are currently making in game preparation and during ingame decision-making.
My family has had season football tickets continuously since 1949. We have seen a lot of bad football and it doesn't appear to be improving at a level that I am happy with based on All of the changes being made in coaching and facility improvements and increased cost to us loyal fans.
Still a fan, but getting really tired of the same results year after year and decade after decade.
