Wisky. In CBB its always better to lose early than late, unlike football.
Wisky has 3 losses- Duke, @Maryland - both top 10 teams, reasonable. The Rutgers team was a bad loss, but finishing strong with winning the B10 tourney and reg season.
UVa woudl have 3 losses- Duke, @UL, then a more recent one
So Duke cancels out, @UL and @Maryland are nearly equivalent. The Rutgers loss was January 11, so it is long gone in the memories of everyone.

I'm not following you. It has always been better to lose early than later in football as well.
I'm not sure why we feel that if Wisconsin gets a 1 we have to punish UVA or Duke either. UK, Duke, UVA and Wisconsin are clearly the best 4 teams so they should get the 1 seeds if there are any line calls IMO, especially with the rumblings of putting the one who does not with UK in Cleveland, which is absurd. I will keep repeating that info for the next 9 days until the brackets are released so apologize for the redundancy in advance. It would be a travesty to the team they did that to (Wisconsin right now).

Like any of us, JMHO. Only if UVa also loses short of the ACCT title game. A loss to a still top 20 UL team on the road won't hurt them much if at all. They've have to follow that with a loss to someone other than Duke in the ACCT. I think either they or Duke could lose this weekend, and then lose to the other in the title game, and still be a 1. Villanova losing is probably Wisconsin's best hope, but again if it's in the title game I doubt that changes things either. Over the year's the committee has often ignored conference tournament results. All the Badger's can do is win, and hope people like me are wrong in in fact they feel like potentially playing UK in Cleveland is any worse than Arizona in LA. At least in Cleveland they'd pick up some "neutral" B10 fans.
First of all Villanova is not going out west and zona will be the one seed there so the question becomes does the ACC get 2 1 seeds and only uk and zona with the other two? I don't think so, if Duke lose one or UVA lose two they will slide to two seed and Wisconsin will get the 1 seed in south with Duke two
