That’s the sad part. Cal’s attitude has changed with age. He was never the best x and o coach, motivating, recruiting, and tough as nails defense is what helped Cal make it to the HOF in my opinion.

I don't understand this line of thinking. I get that UK could use a change at the helm, but why do you think Cal wants to burn the program to the ground before he leaves? I think he still wants to win, even if his outdated tactics aren't working anymore. College basketball has changed immensely over the last ten years, with the style of play and the wild west that is the transfer portal and NIL. It's one thing to say he's not doing a good job anymore... But to say he doesn't want to win and in fact wants to burn a program to the ground on his way out doesn't make an ounce of sense. Please enlighten me as to why this would be his goal?
