Have Lebron demand a trade to the Spurs
Durant already said he will take less money. These guy want to win.
And as the other guy said Lebron needs to go to the Spurs for like on the cheap, same with Paul. Warriors ain't beating that team with Paul, Lebron, Leonard and Aldridge.
Yup that will make the NBA much more competitive and silence all the critics lol
People are acting like the Warriors are run by the same people who run the Knicks or Kings and they won't counter eventually.
Completely unrealistic Warriors-like moves

But yeah the Spurs would be ideal. I was saying that to my buddies during the game. With Kawhi and Pop, Lebron could do some damage. Plus get rid of Alderidge and bring in CP3. Not a cap genius but if the Warriors can have 4 all stars, why not?
Spurs had a chance if healthy. But if Lebron goes the the Spurs might as well cancel the East. Would be horrible

Cavs aren't that far off, the problem is their team got older. I still say this, but they shouldn't have traded for Love with Wiggins and other players.

Changes are coming for the cavs. While he showed up tonight, jr smith isn't the answer and they overpaid for him. Austin Kutchers twin brother is a poor mans Kevin love. Kevin love is a poor excuse in general. I maybe wrong but I sense some tension between lebron and Irving but I think he's the only one safe on the team. Thompson is another overpaid useless player when they are on offense. I guarantee lebron will make sure some big changes will be made in the offseason. I think if that doesn't happen, lebron has seen his last championship and maybe finals in Cleveland. The spurs will be the only team capable of knocking the warriors off in the west and they would also beat Cleveland if indeed chris Paul goes there as he is just wasting away with the clippers.

If Lebron keeps jumping rosters its going to damage him. Stay put and make something happen.
I like Lebron but it's a key theme in both all star PFs he played with. Love and Bosh were made to be spot up shooters in this Bron system . I don't know people expect out of Love . You can blame Cleveland for not going for a cheaper stretch 4 I guess but it's not exactly Kevin Love fault

They've got some guys to retain, but It seems as of now the guys want to stay together. Durant and Curry aren't greedy.

Well then LeBron has probably seen his last title in Cleveland. I don't see Cleveland's roster being much different next season. They are stuck with Thompson's and JR Smith's contract until 2020. I don't see a team willing to trade for those bad contacts. They don't really have any trade assets outside of Love and Irving. I'm sure Love's trade value has declined since he has been in Cleveland so I don't know what they could get for him. It looks like LeBron is going to have to build another super team elsewhere if he wants another ring.
I agree with all that you said. It's the damn Kardashian curse. I knew once Thompson came out and said they were dating that Cleveland stood zero chance of winning anything ever again. Jr smith and Thompson should be traded as a package deal for Carmelo bad money for bad money. Lebron did say he wanted to play with Carmelo. I could see lebron opting out going to la and joining paul George and grabbing melo to join them
I don't get all the whining about the 2 'super-teams' (Warriors/Cavs).
Celtics were stacked in the 50's/60's (won 11 out of 13 years)
Both Lakers/Celtics were stacked in the 60's and 80's (mostly by trade)
Bulls loaded up in the 90's (Pippen came from Sonics, etc)

Rack. One reason Magic, Jordan, and Bird are so beloved is they stayed with one team

There's just the reality now that Warriors are too much now with Durant added to what was an already championship caliber club. LeBron, Love, & Irving not enough to beat Warriors.

Only option that's halfway viable as far as competing with GS is a James move to the Spurs with another piece or two (Chris Paul or someone like that).
I don't care what he does. I'd rather watch a more competitive finals. If the best team in the league wants to add Durant, it's fair game. You can't just have 1 super team in the NBA. You need at least 2, or none. Horrible for the sport. Golden State lost 1 friggin game in the playoffs.
No one is touching Golden State as it currently stands. That much is clear, so Cleveland is not really far off at all. They'd have to seriously remake their roster to beat the Warriors, and they don't have enough trade pieces to breach the gap.
I live in Northeast Ohio area and don't even like the dang state that much. Don't care for their sports teams either.
They did, but then there was no reason to leave. Magic had Kareem (top 5 all time) and Worthy (top 50), Bird had McHale and Parrish (still considered best front line ever), and Jordan had Pippen (top 50).
Curry is a UFA now. Making $12mil, I have to imagine he's going to get, AT LEAST another $10 mil, but maybe another 15-18 mil. Who knows a lot about salary caps and contracts? I have to imagine someone has to go.. Maybe a Klay or Draymond in an attempt to keep the bench decent?
