But 25, no. I think he would love to play one yr with his son. Not sure bronny is good enough but I'm sure klutch will get him in somehow. Then LeBron calls it quits. Imo only.

His longevity in the league while playing it at an All-Star level is incredible.
I don't think he plays 5 more years to reach that mark. I see him playing 2 more years if he wants and no reason to think his All-Star caliber production will suddenly drop off a cliff in 2025. Should make it next year barring some injury, play with Bronny and anything beyond that he will likely get the vote like Kobe did in his final year whenever he retires with the fan vote system in place. Whether you are a fan of him or not, to put together 20 All-Star seasons is impressive.

Nah. He doesn't have much to play for. The only all-time record he's close to being first (besides the ones he already has) is minutes played, behind Kareem. I doubt he's going to have a chance to catch Jordan without going to another team or the Lakers going on a big run.
Don't see him playing another 5 years. He's been in decline for a while as his efficiency numbers have fallen off a cliff since 2018. He still games the stats a bit and dupes casual fans into thinking he's still prime LeBron but after this current contract is up, I think he may have to settle for a 1 year deal somewhere if he wants to stay in the league.
I see one more year with the Lakers and then retire. I expect Bronny to declare after this season and the Lakers to grab him. They’ll do the publicity stuff together next year, LeBron retires and then Bronny gets sent to D league or overseas for as long as his namesake will carry him.
If he was playing with a crutch and a cast or from a wheelchair he'd be voted an All-Star. China has that kind of power. (And he'd still travel)
Bronny is good enough to be a D1 player which is a great accomplishment. But he shouldn’t sniff an NBA contract.

LeBron's prognostication of playing with Bronny put a blanket of pressure on his son that wasn't needed but because some are so focused on their hate for the father (wherein by they pretend he doesn't know how to read or he's somehow overrated) it lead to hatred for the son. But back to LeBron, at some point you've just gotta tip your cap to him. As a Colts fan, I did it with Brady years ago. Having China on the brain or calling LeBron the ever creative "LeBum" won't change the fact that he's one of the greatest of all time.
LeBron only affects the idiots. The rest of us know him for the weak clown and protected puppet he is. If the league and China didn't prop him up, he'd earn respect as a player.

LeBron is obviously a top 5 all-time player and a visionary on the court.
He also seems to be a great family man and watches out for his buddies he grew up with, but it in very positive way.
All that said, I don’t think he’s that good of a business man or GM. And his views on politics need work.

He had his 2nd worst PER this past season. His worst was his rookie season. Not sure how that’s considered improvement. 🤷♂️
I don't think he will, I think he will retire before then. But I certainly think he could. A LeBron, a Jordan, a Kobe, would be an all-star as long as playing at a high level (say scoring 20ppg, maybe even if just scoring 15ppg). All-star games are too much just popularity contests.
I do get trying to give the fans input. But you should also be rewarding top play. If it were up to me, I would do it this way (in every sport):
- fan vote is weighted as 30%
- player and coach vote is weighted as 60%
- media vote is weighted as 10%

LeBron is obsessed over what ppl think of him more than the game. He can't overcome the Jordan stuff and that seemes to bother him more than the why ppl don't put him next to black Jesus. Cause he doesn't compare.
Doubt LJ plays another 5 years so the question is kind of irrelevant. Only reason he is still playing is because he wanted to play in the NBA with his son. Which would be really, really cool if it hadn’t been rigged to get little lebron into the league and onto the Lakers. He should be languishing in the Z league. But they fast tracked him because LJ is about done & wanted to accomplish this last deal with his son before retiring.

'96 Jordan is probably the best of the 6, I'll take him over 2013 Lebron.. but I just don't see any way that rookie Jordan is taking on rookie Lebron.. and even more so for almost-retired Jordan in 2003, going up against still a top5 player in Lebron in 2021.

Lebron is built like Karl Malone but has the skills of a guard. Jordan - as good of a defender as he was - would have no answer for him one-on-one.
I think 1on1 is where Jordan wins, because for me, 1on1 is all about your true basketball ability. It's more about, can you make the shots, than it is say how fast you are or how high can you jump. Lebron would pose a threat because he's simply bigger, but Lebron also still needs to make baskets in 1on1 and thats where I like Jordan.
Jordan could play you 1on1, he'd be near impossibly top stop, and he's probably going to make 10/11 shots. Same with Kobe. Lebron though, he might bully you on the court, but there's going to be too many times where he's missing just a few too many shots.
This idea that Jordan is more skilled than Lebron is ridiculous to me. Lebron is 5x the passer that Jordan was, a comparable perimeter shooter, and a better ball handler.
IDK, I generally side with Lebron in this argument, just not so much for 1on1. I do think his value comes from his size and athleticism, not necessarily his true basketball ability with shot creation, stroke. The shooting percentages to me, are just a product of their era. I believe Jordan would be a better shooter than Lebron, if he grew up in this time. But in the 80s, the 3pt shot just isnt what it is today.
