Leary to KY

Careful that was what we were expecting this year. Glad we got a great QB
Don't be afraid to dream big. I spent Jan-Sept dreaming and imagining us playing Georgia in Nov in a prime time top 10 game to determine the SEC East champs.

Didn't work out! starting in Ole Miss with a dumb procedural penalty & turf toe.

Zero regrets for enjoying the offseason with hopes for greatness! Beats the hell out of whatever our Bball only friends have felt for most of the last 7 yrs.

After the bowl game I'll be convinced UK has the best QB in the SEC East, best wide recievers, best playcaller, and the portal additions for the secondary keep our D nasty. Nice easy Sept helps get us all meshed together for Florida week 5!

I urge our fans to not sleep on Wade. I really think the kid is talented and, most important, a hard worker with a good head on his shoulders. We can win SEC games with Wade, no doubt in my mind about it.
I'm not meaning to sleep on anyone. If you're bringing in a new qb , is he being promised the job or does he have to earn it? Sheron has practiced in Coen's offense. What's to keep the others happy while Leary will have to be given the vast amount of reps to get up to speed by Sept.
That's why I'm hoping that the staff will give Wade and Sheron the freedom to do more than just hand the ball off in the bowl game.

Yard Barker has an article up about Freeze losing his first battle or something like that referring to Leary coming to Kentucky. It said that Auburn offered him 'overtures' also but still lost him to us. Specifically, what are some of the things the 'overtures' could have been?

Yup uh huh Beau Allen, that's all I see here. Nothin but a big ole pile of Beau Allen, that's right

And Beau Allen threw like 10 passes in his entire career. Nonsensical to compare stats. Interesting that the word at NC State was he'd likely be # 2 behind the guy who replaced him when he was injured.

That clip is very interesting. Hints that T Robinson will be back next year.
I wondered if I was reading too much into the way the clips were spliced together. Looked to me like he picked out passes to Key, Brown, and Robinson on purpose.

Leary, Davis, Key, Brown, Robinson. Plus a revamped line and Coen. Our offense is going to be nasty next season.

With reports of Weaver returning, we lost only one of our front four stalwarts.

Yes, we lost two good linebackers (three counting the Jack) but are reloading and saw a multi-game preview of our starters next year.

The secondary is gaining from the portal, and we may have more safety depth than anyone in the nation.

Keep Leary upright and healthy, and we’ll be a tough out.

And just like that Kentucky said to the rest of the entire country:
We have the money honey. Kentucky will be a player in this game now.

Old guard TAKE NOTICE!

Kentucky don't need five star players from high school anymore. 💯.
The field has been equalized. You're not going to win by just hoarding all the five star players you can possibly get ANYMORE.
The most important thing you can have in a coach right now is talent evaluator.💯💯💯... And I believe in Mark Stoops and Vince Marrow when it comes to that. Proven track record. They know players when they see them. This coaching staff's biggest talent honestly is Talent evaluation 💯
💰💰💰💰💰💰🤣

Best thing we ever did was tie our school to the Stoops family. They know players, coaches, and have connections. Like Mike Leach said a while back " the Stoops family have an advantage. If they have a problem they just call one of their brothers or connections".
How high are you right now on a scale of 7 to 32?

Watch him

Watch him vs Clemson and tell me he isn’t SEC caliber.
Well, USCjr beat Clemson so, there's that.
Listen, I'm not trashing the kid in the least or being negative about him. Just cautiously optimistic. I hope he's better than advertised. But, I also know what a 8 game SEC schedule can do to even the best QB's. The ACC just doesn't compare.
