Won't be an issue because he won't be failing to recognize a blitz. Qbs are part of the protection too. The last two years, the QB was responsible for the vast majority of sacks.

Levis is an amazing NFL prospect but this guy is at least 10x the college QB. Next year when the ball is delivered on time and we scorch anyone that blitzes us, we will literally look like a different team.

The ACC is def weak compared to the SEC but Clemson's D was as good or better than any SEC team besides Georgia, Leary went for 4 TD's and 0 INT's last year!

I Agee. It’s right to be cautious. However, this guy is a mature, seasoned player. Former.ACC player of the year. Yeah, he may have played in the ACC, but he dominated it as well.

So many positives with Leary.. First, and foremost imo, he’s a great decision maker. A quick decision maker. Throws to the right guy, on time with accuracy. This is the best attribute a QB could have. Looking at his career, you would be hard pressed to find a game where his play led to a loss. Conversely, there are many, many games you could point to where his play was the deciding factor in winning the game. Clemson last year for example. A national top 5, SEC type defense.

Dude is a QB that will always give you a chance to win. Every game. No matter the conference. I’ll put it like this. Look at our schedule next year. Who has a better QB than Leary? Rattler? Is Milton back for UT? Florida with Mertz or McCall? RS FR Ty Simpson at Bama? You get the point.

NC State has has been quite successful in getting QBs to the NFL. Phillip Rivers, Russell Wilson, Ryan Finley, Mike Glennon, Jacoby Brissett.
