Last Game on the Road vs Ranked Opponent

Was studying Jon Scott’s site and noticed we have only gone on the road versus a ranked opponent once under John Calipari. That was against #16 Florida in 2011-12.

We won that game obviously.

Surprising it hasn’t happened more often but the Tennessee game Saturday will go a long way in telling us how ready we are for the next several weeks.

So, this will be the 3rd time in 15 years. 20% isn’t that rare as I would guess away games on an annual basis probably include around 20% of the teams being ranked.
