3 losses to him. 2 OT games at home where we missed a kick. A loss in the Grove where we had some missed kicks...penalty....and Saturday? It finally happened...after tough losses and heartbreaks....we got it done. 15 years this goes back..
I'm hyped up off this win and a bye week....but remember the bad times just to know how sweet this feels. A win where we hit kicks...they missed kicks....we were aggressive and Lane wasn't aggressive. We got it done.
In all honesty....2009 we kind of were even if not we felt like we were better than UT. 2020 we felt like we should've beat them and were favored. We came in the 2022 game ranked higher. This time....we were 15 point underdogs and got it done....I've said we're better when we're being doubted.
2009 vs. Tennessee: Rich Brooks last home game....we kicked a FG instead of going for a TD. We missed a FG. The streak lives...this loss stings on the same level as 2017 Florida.
2020 vs. Ole Miss: Eddie Gran had is rolling that day....but our defense was terrible. AJ Rose's STUPID throwing dueces....we missed a kick in OT just like 2009....BRUTAL.
2022 vs. Ole Miss: Missed kicks. Barion slipping. A terrible call. Levis gets hurt. And another heart break....
