Hate this for him. We need his leadership and heart on the court. Next man up!
Not sure if it's pain or if it's mobility. Depending on the injury his arm might just give out. That could be why he turned the ball over so much vs Vandy.I wonder if this is going to be a pain tolerance thing until he can get a fix in the offseason
Yep. As a senior, I’d be asking for the cortisol injections and the most heavy duty support brace they had. It’s his off arm, so while it does limit him going left (which we saw some uncharted turnovers bc in the 2 games he tried playing through before sitting out)… he could still go and be 70%I wonder if this is going to be a pain tolerance thing until he can get a fix in the offseason

No way to know that. Team was playing well without him those few minutes he was out. No way to tell how good or bad it is based on tonightnot looking good
This is the concern. I am not good a good lip reader but whatever he was telling a teammate on a dead ball, he didn’t look happy to say it. I’m probably over analyzing. We go as Butler goes for postseason run.Just hope this will not be season ending injury
Hope they can get him some what healthy by tournament timeHate this for him. We need his leadership and heart on the court. Next man up!
Nothing to lose? That is not the Kentucky program that I grew up loving. We play to win every game!Winning tonight allows you to go to Texas with nothing to lose.
Sit them all Saturday.
Good thing we don’t know if either will be out.going to be difficult going to Texas without Butler and Robinson
Fell and came up favoring both his left elbow and his left shoulder. Didn't come back in the game. What happened to Butler tonight?
“Which I’ll be surprised”. Thanks Doc!Butler needs to play smarter then that. His shoulder is hurt, and he was playing pretty reckless with it.Before he reinjured it I said to my son, he better be careful or he will be done.
If he makes it back, which I'll be surprised if he does he needs to pick and choose when and how he goes after the ball.
He was moving his shoulder a little towards the end, I was watching him. So praying it’s just a stingerSit him until the SEC tourney.
We are in the NCAA tourney even if we lose out and we should be able to win a few without him.
Let him play in the SEC tourney to get the rust off.
Let him get 100%.
We have to sit him for a bit even if he's fine for next game. It's not that playing means wear on his shoulder (it does), but it means just more chances for other teams to rough him up.
If he's not playing, he can't get injured.
Good thing we don’t know if either will be out.
If he’s not playing he can’t score or steal balls either.
It’s his last chance at big time ball.
Fully healthy we’re at worse 19-5 right now and a solid 2 seed. It's sad knowing what UK would be with a full roster.
Two more wins nets us a 5 or 6 seed. Three more nets us a 4 or 5. Four more wins nets us a 3.
I would say Butler will be back before Jaxson. If he didn't come back in tonight I'd doubt he plays Saturday. Maybe Jax can.
In the heat of the moment it’s hard to think rather than react. He’s a fearless competitor, and I hope he makes it back.Butler needs to play smarter then that.
