L. Vaught’s take on Bradshaw

That’s my entire point . I’m just saying it would suck if he leaves because it could have cost us a recruit . A recruit/transfer might have considered us had Bradshaw not been on the roster .

I’m not blaming the coaches I’m just saying if he left for USC I don’t see how it’s not seen as a bad thing this late in the game.

It's not seen as a bad thing when a player that would rather chase media attention, NIL money, or guaranteed number of shots plays somewhere else besides UK. I want players here committed to improving their skills and helping the team win. If Bradshaw is not that player, I won't lose a wink of sleep.

What players have we lost because Bradshaw is here?

You do know that’s a question nobody can answer but it’s safe to say someone could have not considered UK because he was here and plays the same position . No recruit is going to come out and say they didn’t come here because of Bradshaw but it’s a pretty easy assumption to make when talking recruiting.

I really don’t get what’s so hard to understand here . I definitely don’t get how losing a top 5 recruit this late in the game wouldn’t be a big deal .

So I’ll just finish this by saying hopefully he remains a Cat .

Miss the days of getting the best possible players and challenging them to work for playing time and ending up as high draft picks if they were good enough.

Now it seems the only way Kentucky winds up with a great player is if they get exactly what they want from Cal.

Yeah NIL, blah blah blah

So many successful teams in basketball as they build teams. Cal’s philosophy is out talent everyone and if he isn’t doing that it’s a struggle.

That’s not based an anything we haven’t already heard. It’s also written like a buzzed blog post. Larry Vaught was never a Pulitzer Prize contender but he’s better than this.

Pull yourself together, Larry.

So... the takeaway is CCC has caused things to get so bad with the program that a respected UK journalist has turned to alcohol while writing articles? 😂

I like Larry but this is pretty par for the course for him.
I don't mean to come off sound like a smart ass but is Larry Vaught the guy who is always taking pictures with teenage girls?

If so, then I know who he is and while he's got right to his opinion, it sure read as if he wrote it in separate days and was talking himself through things after making a quick judgment.

Hope this all sorts itself out and the player gets to do what he wants to do and chose to do.

Wait, I thought he was turned off by our mid major facilities according to Kyle Tucker, the KSR dude and half of this board. Was it Bradshaw, our facilities, or NIL. Which one are we going with?

Did you listen to what they said or are you just selecting bits and pieces to try and fit a narrative? Cause that’s what it seems. If you don’t know that money was the deciding factor, well then I don’t know what to tell you. None of them claimed the facilities were the reason. That’s just a fact.
