Kriisa or Perry

We all know Perry is going to throw a lob to the big at top of the key 30 ft from the goal & teams are playing it so I hope we get out of that on Saturday. If I know it then people paid to watch film and scout definitely know it lol, but he’s gotten better but I agree with others that the O seems to go blah in half court when he comes in.

No knock on Perry because I really like him and think he will develop into a fine player. But, when he comes in the other teams attack him and exploit his weakness on defense. The offense also seems to completely stall when Butler goes to the bench and Perry comes in. He’s performed well under the circumstances but it’s a big drop off when Butler goes to the bench.
You have a point. However, last night against TAMU, it seemed the offense was stalled whenever either one was in the game. Butler struggled with scoring and running the point. However, most games, Butler is the man. Kriisa brings energy and can change the game for better or for worse. Hope he comes back in good shape and can shoot as well as Perry.

I actually like what Tp brings more than Kerr and that's not a slight to him at all. I just think Perry moves better and is a little stronger than Kerr. I also think he's a better shooter. We just need to see what Kerr has when he gets back. I still think he should play
Man I love Perry, but he is in no way stronger. Not even close. In fact that’s why he gets blown up on D so much. Physicality kills him.
But yea, he is a better shooter. And he’s filled in admirably. There’s room for both.

Kerr will get his spot back as Pope is making the decision.

I'd like for Perry to still get a few minutes somewhere. If he is hitting 3s he's playable to me. He has started hitting 3s so play him.

Kerr was brought he to bring the juice off the bench. He is the perfect guy to do that. He gets under the skin of guys and coaches on the other team. TP is doing his job to the best of his ability, which is improving by the minute it seems. I think you can actually play both but not at the same time.

are we sure Kerr is gonna be back? I mean, he still hobbles.
As soon as he was hurt and they started saying stuff like 4-6 weeks I was incredibly skeptical... a fractured foot is not a 4 week injury (as we've seen, Saturday will be 6 weeks and he's clearly not on the verge of returning). I figured best case scenario he would be out ~8 weeks and come back in February, worst case he doesn't come back this year and gets a medical hardship waiver to return next season.

Jones seems to think Kerr is not coming back this season. He is eligible for medical RS. Apparently Almonor has an option to come back as well (according to MJ).

I think you'd prefer Kerr's experience but Perry doing well. Put it this way, if Perry continues to perform and Kerr is out another month, I think you try and convince Kerr to come back next year.

Idk about all that. That would mean almonor, Garrison, OO, Kerr, and the 3 frosh back plus 4 new frosh. Gonna be hard to get any quality transfers when we already have 11 guys expecting to be n a rotation that won't be 11 guys.

Krissa brings energy, he’s a dawg. We need one of him on the floor. I’d also play Perry spot minutes to see if he’s on that day.
