You have a point. However, last night against TAMU, it seemed the offense was stalled whenever either one was in the game. Butler struggled with scoring and running the point. However, most games, Butler is the man. Kriisa brings energy and can change the game for better or for worse. Hope he comes back in good shape and can shoot as well as Perry. No knock on Perry because I really like him and think he will develop into a fine player. But, when he comes in the other teams attack him and exploit his weakness on defense. The offense also seems to completely stall when Butler goes to the bench and Perry comes in. He’s performed well under the circumstances but it’s a big drop off when Butler goes to the bench.
No we aren’t sure. Not speaking for OP but his question even notes IF he comes back. This is a tough injuryare we sure Kerr is gonna be back? I mean, he still hobbles.
Man I love Perry, but he is in no way stronger. Not even close. In fact that’s why he gets blown up on D so much. Physicality kills him.I actually like what Tp brings more than Kerr and that's not a slight to him at all. I just think Perry moves better and is a little stronger than Kerr. I also think he's a better shooter. We just need to see what Kerr has when he gets back. I still think he should play
As soon as he was hurt and they started saying stuff like 4-6 weeks I was incredibly skeptical... a fractured foot is not a 4 week injury (as we've seen, Saturday will be 6 weeks and he's clearly not on the verge of returning). I figured best case scenario he would be out ~8 weeks and come back in February, worst case he doesn't come back this year and gets a medical hardship waiver to return next season.are we sure Kerr is gonna be back? I mean, he still hobbles.
Jones seems to think Kerr is not coming back this season. He is eligible for medical RS. Apparently Almonor has an option to come back as well (according to MJ).
I think you'd prefer Kerr's experience but Perry doing well. Put it this way, if Perry continues to perform and Kerr is out another month, I think you try and convince Kerr to come back next year.
