It’s crazy to think this team has only been together for several months. They act and play like a group who has been together for years. Refreshing to have so many upperclassmen.
It's almost like they are playing with multiple years of experience.
Coach said it himself. Why anticipate failure? What evidence have they shown that it is not possible?
I’m not hoping to lose games, but I think the last forty years would indicate 40-0 isn’t happening. We will lose some games but the context matters more than the result. I’d, for one, absolutely love to go 40-0 but let’s get real
We were 38-0 just 10 yrs ago. Its possible; you have to have the players, you have to have the depth, you have to have experience and you have to have the coaching.
Ky has all that.
So what seems to be your major malfunction Sir?
I want 40-0 as much as you do. I always try to be honest in my evaluation and I don’t see the level of talent required to get there. I’m so excited for the future with Pope.
I’m expecting three losses but while the potential exists I’m rolling with that.
The SEC is a brutal conference this year. I am bracing myself for 5-6 losses
I wouldn’t be surprised if 6 losses isn’t a first place finish in the SEC this year. It’s that brutal

My point is we won over then #6 Duke in Atlanta in just the 3rd reg season game these guys have played together and just the 3rd reg season game Pope has coached them at Ky.
That counts for more than just beating #6; that puts CB on F’in notice brother.
I agree with a lot of what you’re saying and I do think CBB has to be scared at the threat of what Pope is building. I’m talking purely in terms of this season — we do not have a flawless team and that is ok. We have a darn good one and it is a blast watching them
No but alot of the other intangibles “could” subvert the few flaws we possess.
Do I really think we will go 40-0 of course not but I do believe this team will be competitive in every game and who know?
