I always thought Torres was a Kentucky guy. I guess because he wrote that book about the Wall Cousins team?

I know “The Carolina Way” has been around for a long time (though it means something different to us than their clueless, delusional fans).

Think it’s time to bring “The Connecticut Way” into the lexicon, as well.

I wanted Hurley because he was young, had a great offense, and just won 2 championships. I knew shit about him. After seeing his behavior he would’ve been a god awful hire here. Good lord.

ESPN's list to replace Brown has Sumrall's picture next to the link.

If UNC can fire a hall of famer for going 6-5, surely we can blast a dude for going 18-19 in the last 3 years.

Don't mess this up Mitch.

That link has:

Sumrall
Barry Odom
Glenn Schumann UGA DC
Dan Mullen
PJ Fleck
Chadwell
Dave Clawson
Skip Holtz

Those first 6 are going to get mentioned with every P4 opening this yr.

Skip Holtz🤣

It's one data point, but it clearly didn't work for Hurley in Maui.

Also, Pope's gentlemanly conversation with officials against Duke seemed to work. Doesn't mean being a dick wouldn't have worked too, though.

What if being a complete dick to officials works? I would be interested to see a study on this.

As much as I hate to say it, as someone that’s forward facing to the hell that is the general public, a lot of time the as*holes end up getting their way over nice people.

If I was a ref I'd throw his ass out in five seconds. In no other walk of life does someone get to talk to another person like that without consequence. If he talked like that to someone in a bar he'd get the shit beat out of him.

*I threw out some dickhead grandpa in a Pee Wee league game when I was ump'ing in high school. So I love to pull the trigger on a toss.
