This is the most Jekyl and Hyde team I've EVER seen. Have fun selection committee trying to seed this team! Hell of a win.

They are far from perfect and drive me crazy but you can't call em soft anymore. That's the 3rd win against the NET top 5.

They're not soft. They're just not physical players for the most part - especially weak in reaction to 50/50 balls and rebounding. But that's inherent in their games I'm afraid. BUT... they do bring effort, and that means they ain't soft.

Was hoping not to get too blown out. Praying for the win. Was more hopeful when Carr started, but that faded fast. They came out strong and I just cheered them all way. What a great game and win!

Thanks in some part to Ziegler missing shot after shot from 3. (Most if them wide open)
But, we played hard and made some big threes from Robinson. Almonar, Brea and Noah.

We made them shoot 45 threes. That was not what they wanted to do. Crazy stuff in this one.

Anyone else irate after that overturned call of the ball off Oweh near the end? That drove me crazy. All I saw was UT player knocking the ball out and they called it our ball. To overturn the call on that "evidence" was pretty brutal. Happy it didn't end up hurting us.

Rebounds were even so not sure about the complaint here. FT's were/are another matter

I picked up the phone a few times and read some comments then we let go of the rope and I put it down and then we went on a run and I picked it up and then we shit the bed again. Glad it worked out and we got a huge win undermanned.

This really gives Kentucky a lot of breathing room in an attempt to grab a 4 or 5-seed. Not saying we will, because I still think we're in for a letdown or two unless we get healthy.. but this helps for sure.

There's probably only two more games more difficult than this one that remain: @Bama and Auburn. You could make a case that a rematch at home with Tennessee could be tough

If anyone thought we were winning that game down Carr, Butler and Kriisa, they were lying. No shame in thinking we had no chance, I sure didn't.

Goes to show you just the type of talent Pope is. I'm pretty sure two junior high kids snuck onto the floor for UK and we still beat a fully strength top10 Tennessee team on the road.

This is what you have to do. I stood in my guest bathroom for the entire second half, where I could see the tv through the door. Because that’s where I was when we started the run beginning of second half. It’s just what we do.

Alarming we gave up 33 such shots and only got 8

I thought our size played some factor. We looked a lot bigger than their guards. May have had some effect on their shooting even though they did miss a lot of open shots.

Switching and help defense was tremendous. Made it hard to beat us one on one. May have been a factor in them shooting so many threes. And when they did get inside our size seem to bother them a lot.

This is all true. We didn't force them to take 3's- they took the 3's because they were very predictably wide open. I hate Tennessee, and I absolutely cherish any win over them, especially in Thompson-Bowling. But I cannot understand how we won- out rebounded, they took 22 more shots than us. Inconceivable. And totally awesome! GBB!!!
