I think it’s important that people understand our inability to run is not completely because of who is carrying the ball. If the offensive line isn’t creating space up front it doesn’t matter who is carrying the football. That is the real issue

That said there is no excuse for this game. NUI has lost their QB, reviver, top o-lineman, both CBs, and we still can't do ish.

I agree, but I just noticed that the NIU score just before half was a trick play that got 2 inexperienced players...

Afari didn't maintain his spot on the reverse, and Lovett got sucked up on the throw...

Weaver probably doesn't make that mistake.

We aren't the only one that didn't play well today. Michigan nearly lost to Maryland. Had it not been for the two gifted touchdowns, Maryland would have won that game on the road. Seems like it has been one of those crazy Saturdays.
