We can’t get them clean looks. Duke’s defense is really good guarding the three.
It is. But our roster was out together in like 3 months. Duke has been recruiting their guys for a few years. Pope will get us there.
This is big can Pope make the halftime adjustments. With Cal we'd be toast already.
We need to throw in some defensive looks. Even zone. Try something because we won’t matchup man to man.
Despite the " experience " we have most of these guys have little experience in this type of game. Give Duke credit they got us out of our comfort zone and played with much more poise.
Kentucky could have very well went up 10-12. Duke tried & tried to let us but that dry spell gave Duke enough to finally take the lead & get confidence.

Kerr - Aggressive & not scared but gunslinging and cold.
Brea - getting torched. Has to provide offense if he’s going to be a defense liability

Almanor - Need to get him more looks from 3
Carr - Foul trouble and no rhythm.
Garrison - meh

The TO discrepancy is huge, but Duke should have had 3 if the charge had been called when Foster bulldozed Kriisa and when Proctor pushed off to get clear in the lane on another Duke score.
All of our momentum stopped with the blocking call on Kerr. I wonder if our guys let the refs fluster them a bit.

We have 0 chance to win this game playing man to man every time down the court. We cannot guard these guys straight up. We are going to have to play some zone and pack it in or we are going to give up shots in the paint and at the rim all game
It’s the friggin first half. Let’s go in and relax. Think about it. Play more physical. Play with a chip. Nothing to lose. 28 points in the paint we have 6. Fix that. Run a little zone.
