It wasn’t a good night for Pope. Should have played junk defenses all night against them to insure the win. But he seemed resigned to trying to man them. Been a fun year so far with a patchwork team and I expect more fun times. Sure don’t miss Cal and the lack of discipline his teams always have. Even showed up tonight in a huge win for them.

It does not seem like it is a work in progress to me. I don't think any work is being done on defense. Hard to imagine any coach would put a defensive product on the court as bad as we are. I'm now not convinced that this team could guard 5 fence post that are set in concrete.
