You're not seeing the bigger picture. Its the consistent issues from this team that has not been fixed. Pope gets a pass this year. The point of my response there, is about consistency. If this year is consistent next year and beyond, it won't look good for Pope.Give me a break. We all know that this team isn't loaded with talent and we knew this would be an uphill battle without Butler.
2 and 6They deserve to gloat, we played so fkn bad. Pope was outcoached too.
The tougher hard nosed quicker team won because they hit shots they have been missing all year. UK does struggle with quickness.Meh, meant the same for all involved, the better talent and better coached team won. Simple
Dude, I wish you would even try to say that to me in person right now. What are you even talking about? Nobody's talking about being ok with losing. We're talking about not being a whiny quitting bitch.
But since we're on the subject, having no perspective and acting like every loss is an existential crisis doesn't make you hard. It makes you a moron who needs to get out and touch grass every once in a while.
You're embarrassing yourself.
Likely a first round loss. Our trajectory is better than their trajectory.
We will watch basketball in March. They won't.
Hard to argue that.Gotta listen to Jerome Tang and go get dawgs. Pope has many great attributes as a coach but this team gets out toughed every single time they lose and that's an extension of him. Otega is the only cornerstone I feel comfortable rolling with. Garrison is bad more than he's good. Perry + Chandler + Noah are young and can improve but not sure I'd like them to be anything more than 11th/12th/13th men. This freshman class coming in is talented but kinda soft. Need to bring in 4-5 dawgs.
He said he was coming here to win banners, not lose to freaking Arkansas at home. I wonder if that group chat of his '96 championship teammates are going to destroy him "every time something goes wrong," like this, as if that has worked all year.Pope is now 1-4 in the last four games. This is a massive turd on the resume. This is the one game UK fans didn't want to lose, and for Pope to make no adjustments is awful. He deserves all the crap coming his way. The honeymoon is over--nostalgia doesn't win games.
Ok you're entitled to your opinion, but i disagree. It’s not. He has absolutely shortened the fans’ patience tonight. This game cost him far more favor than the Georgia or Ohio State losses, and you know it. This was THE must win game this season even before it started. This loss will leave lasting disgust from the fan base.
What was Pope supposed to do without a point guard and little piggies shooting like they are great shooters?I'm really disappointed in Pope tonight. When You understand the assignement, you dont ****ing lose to calipari and arkansas. Better look at your ****ing syllabus again
you'll be on here by the next gameNo, f&ck that, we LET Cal do this. We left shooters open all game. Pope had all season to fix this defense and he didn't do it.
This right here is bullshit and not good enough. There is no reason to be this bad defensively and since we are 21 games in, it is what it is, we just suck and apparently it's not getting any better.
This cost us a seed line and a lot of shit eating. Glad we have fans that are good with it. I'm not. until Pope proves he can coach defense, I'm out.
Clearly, there seems to be a lack of accountability for his inability to implement a halfway decent defense this far into the season. He said he was coming here to win banners, not lose to freaking Arkansas at home. I wonder if that group chat of his '96 championship teammates are going to destroy him "every time something goes wrong," like this, as if that has worked all year.
We aren't winning anything either.Cal won his Super Bowl. That’s all he’ll win this year.
