Infield in for Heady. Heady got a pitch to drive, but just missed it. Heady then attempted to bunt and fouled it off. Strange. Heady then got a big time hit up the middle, but the SS knocked it down and threw him out and UK isn't able to score the run. Heck of a play.

The thing about this Ohio team is that they don't make many mistakes. They make you earn runs. Even when we get walks, they are making some very solid plays to get outs and limit the number of runs we've scored.

Still, I kind of like this score because it seems when we kill opponents we come back and lay an egg the next game. Maybe if we just win this solidly that won't happen tomorrow.

I don't think there is any possible way that he returns to pitch on Monday. That is basically 2 days rest. Was never going to happen. Worse case scenario is that we pitch by committee on Monday, possible do what we did in the first game of the SEC tournament.

Carson swung at a pitch at his eyes and strikes out for the first out. Heady got ahold of one, but foul. We're getting great bats on some, but well ahead of them. Heady works the count on Blessing and draws a walk 6-0!!!

He's just over 100. I'd send him out there again. Then maybe give the ball over to Cleary or Maley in the 9th.. might even let him go for the entire 9 if I can.
