We are under way. Daniels gets hit with a pitch. Cam squared to bunt and got hit in the head and they call it a strike. Bad call in my opinion. Bat can be over the plate, but they have to be actually offer.

Daniel's then picked off and Mingione mad that the Governor first baseman was blocking the base.

Ramsey got a fly out, and a strikeout before giving up a double and intentionally walking Phillips again. He got out of the threat with Shinn making another great play in the outfield.

Collett smashed one to left but it hangs up for out number one. Reed strikes out swinging. Shinn with a two out double into left center. This team hates singles. Lol. Gei grounds out to short on a good scoop by their first baseman.

Ramsey, based on his history, doesn't need bad things happening in the field but Reed doesn't get the glove down.

Reed let's one go through and the Govs have a lead off man on. Error on Reed. 4-6-3 double play!!! Good job Cats! Ramsey had to get that after falling behind 3-0. He then gets a swinging strikeout.

Going to the third 0-0

This is one of the smallest lineups that Kentucky has had in a few years. Dalton Reed is 6'4" and obviously Ramsey at 6'9" is good size but the rest of the lineup is not that big.

ARod draws his third walk of the young year to start the third. Lewis looking to bunt. He gets it down and moves Rodriguez.

Tons of speed though. Need to use that to our advantage.

Hit and run scores Rodriguez! Great job there.

1-0 Kentucky. Still just one out.

Cam Hill hits one into left and its over the head of the left fielder. Daniels scores sliding into home and Cam slides safely into third!!! 2-0 UK! They give Cam another double.

Reed sticks one out into left and he stretches it into a standup double.

Shinn grounds out to short, but he advances Reed to third. Cats batting around and a passed ball scores Reed. 6-0 Cats! Gei grounds out short to end the UK 3rd.

Probably the best thing that could happen for Ramsey. He doesn't have to worry quite so much about going at the batters now.

Ramsey starts the bottom half off right with a strikeout. Comebacker and Ramsey gets out number two. Struck him out for his 4th and it ends the 3rd!

ARod popped out to first, Lewis flew out to left and Daniels grounded out to short in a quick 4th.

Ramsey gives up a four pitch walk by battles back to get a strikeout. A double off the wall in left scores a run. 6-1 now.

Ramsey gets another strikeout, that's 6 today for him. Ground out goes 3-1 to end the inning.

"Cam plays with his hair on fire."

That's the type of player you love.

Hill leads off the 4th and works a full count walk. Good leadoff.

Just like last year, we are being super aggressive on the bases. Now two picked off first this game.

Must have been the smoke obscuring his vision, must not have seen the pickoff attempt.

Hill caught leaning and gets picked off. Shelby strikes out swinging. Collett reaches on an error.

Ramsey gives up a lead off home run 6-2 before getting a line out to short.

Ramsey gets out two with a strikeout. Tripp Lockhart up in the pen. Ramsey called strike three ends the 5th! 6-2 UK

Seems like this has been a somewhat typical but better version of Ramsey. He's only given up 3 hits through 6 but all are extra bases. He's got only two walks so far.

Zeke Lewis needs to get a hit at some point this season. I doubt they can keep him in the lineup at 0.000.

Shinn gets a single to lead off the 6th. Shinn on the move and he beats out a double play attempt but Gei gets out on it. ARod walks and a balk advances everyone a base. Lewis with an RBI ground out. 7-2. Good at bat for Lewis.

Monahan now coming in to pitch for Austin Peay.

I still think that at times he throws too straight. A strong fastball but not much tail to it, so when people line it up they hit it hard.
