People have been unsuccessfully trying for 3 years. That’s my scouting report.
Sounds like a pretty solid gameplan to me.That’s my scouting report.
You neutralize him some that definitely takes a ton away from them. That’s my scouting report.
I wonder what his stats would look like if he played for Kentucky instead of Georgia 🤔Bowers is big, fast, has great hands and runs excellent routes. The only thing I don’t like about him is that he doesn’t play for Kentucky.

He is there offense, we have to stop him or we lose.Nahhh. Let’s just do what we did against Pistol Pete. Let him get his and shut down everyone else!!
We don't have anyone who can cover that guy and neither does anyone else.
You would just get Vandagriff instead of Beck. But you have the right idea. Getting pressure on the QB, collapsing his pocket, and hurrying his decisions, are the first steps in neutralizing a talented group of receivers. For zone coverages to work, you have to hurry the QB. We hurried Graham Mertz yesterday, especially in the first half, and we got results. Hurrying Beck is one of the keys for us next Saturday. But there are others, not the least of which is lighting a fire under our passing game and somehow waking up Dane Key.Break their QB in half and Bowers goes away. To win this game, at home, you have to not only out play Georgia but you have to out mean them.
Could you call Kirby and suggest he start doing that AFTER this Saturday? We'd be so appreciative if you did.I have wondered that very thing, but not so much UK, but a coach who wanted to put up offensive stats, instead of defensive stats. UGA targeted him 14 times today, the majority in 2nd half. I think he should get 20 targets a game.
I was just joking dawg, I don’t think any TE at Kentucky has been targeted 14 times in their entire career much less in one game, hence the Bowers stat line. If I had a vote he would get mine for Heisman 🍺I have wondered that very thing, but not so much UK, but a coach who wanted to put up offensive stats, instead of defensive stats. I believe we can win it in Athens. I'm sure Mark Stoops and our coordinators and players believe we can.We really covered him well last year. We always play Georgia well. Imo this is the closest we've been to them in years. I actually think we'd win if the game was in Lexington.
This game could be in the hands of Walker, Hayes and Wallace.UK could well give Beck something he hasn't seen and something that even caused Brady problems on the rare occasions he faced it. Pressure up the middle in your face when you are trying to throw is a completely different animal.
I should not have left out SilverThis game could be in the hands of Walker, Hayes and Wallace.
Doesn’t work that way in football. Object in football is keeping the other team out of the endzone. Can’t let him go off and get 3 or 4 scoresNahhh. Let’s just do what we did against Pistol Pete. Let him get his and shut down everyone else!!
