I live near Knoxville and today I was listening to sports radio and the announcers made several short mentions of some practice traditions. One was "the black tape." This is basically something all the freshmen have to wear during fall camp and they can only take it off and "be a part of the team" when their unit votes that they have earned it. Hearing this made me wonder if UK had any traditions like this or similar?
