Kentucky Is Heavily Pursuing Uncommitted 5-Star C Caleb Swanigan

Still feel since its been said by multiple people that the interest is more on UK's side, that Swanigan is just including UK for more interest in himself.

We wanted diallo and don't want this guy according to many in this thread? Makes no sense

I do not understand why any UK fan would say "we don't want this kid". If Coach wants him, I want him. And from my chair...the more the merrier.

@KySportsRadio: Interesting RT @JonRothstein: Kentucky has emerged as a legitimate landing spot for 2015 big man Caleb Swanigan, source told @CBSSports.

Another immature teenager floating that UK has a shot to generate attention.

By the way, did we ever find out if Brown floated the UK rumors the night of his commitment to California?

We could really use a big body.. Skal and Lee are thin.. Poythress is awesome but we need someone to share the 4. We will be good with the roster we have but there is no room for foul trouble or god forbid, injury.

I don't think he will come here, just as long as he doesn't go to duo UNC, Kansas or back to michigan state

IMHO, this player seems like a prime prospect for the proposed new Las Vegas developmental league, where he could probably afford this personal chef and private room.

I heard he has raised the ante a bit. He want his mother hired as his private Chef and he no longer want a private room. He is now willing to share his room with a couple of Co-Eds

The guy is not that good, slow not a good athlete, plus he is a head case, plus we would not even start for the cats. Look at Duke won the Championship with 7 players, you don't need 10 guys. Kentucky has enough to be a solid team next year.

Kentucky isn't in a situation where they're looking for "starters." We need bodies to fill out a practice. Those who say Kentucky has enough are IMO way off the mark.

And the Duke last year vs. UK this coming year comparison is off simply because the quality of those 7 players Duke had were obviously very high. Kentucky has some exciting players but the fact that Alex Poythress, who really hasn't put together three consistent games in his career, is going to be one of the anchors of the team is a little concerning.

Swanigan would be massive for this team, as would Murray. There's an obvious and pretty glaring lack when you at this roster as it stands.
