Put in a call? Maybe.
Heavily pursuing? No.
I tend to agree with you on this one.

He's built like a moose, has good feet and good hands, better touch than you'd expect from a guy his size and rebounds incredibly well.
He's limited athletically, isn't very long, doesn't change a lot of shots for a guy that you'll likely have playing at the rim due to his strength and rebounding, and has seemed to struggle against elite big men on the all star circuit.
Think a poor man's Sullinger.
False...Kentucky doesn't need anybody else for next season. Need to focus on 2016 and beyond
poor man's elton brand? he was 6-8 and had long reach, just more defined and athletic.Id say sullinger a good comparison except sullinger was ready to do 18/9 right out of the gate. But for the sake of accuracy swanigan is incredibly long for his height. Hes a hair under 6'8 but measured at the world hoop summit at almost 7'4. Thats incredible for anybody let alone someone that "short" in comparison. For perspective alex is a long athlete whos not even 7'0 in that category. Its wider than willies too and I believe the same as KAT. Standing reach of 9'1 also which is incredible for any height let alone his. Again, for comparison willie was impressive with a standing reach of 9'2.

That's so freakishly funny for some reason.I believe he is truly torn between Cal and Purdue.
We weren't in his Final 3 when he committed the first time. I don't see us making a push now, but I can't blame Cal for trying if it's true.

Still need a Vargas like player in case we have bad foul trouble. Also need a wing.Kentucky doesn't need anybody else. We still have more talent than most, if not every other team, and we have just as much depth as we always had before last season.
We need Jamal Murray.

I don't know if "we" need somebody else or not, but I do know we do NOT need this dude. I've only seen him play one game, so my sample size is a little skewed, but I was not the least bit impressed. (I realize my opinion doesn't mean jackshiite) Hoping this is all BS, he can stay at PU or Cal...
1) He's not coming here
2) That's a good thing
If the list of demands is even half true, there is zero chance we bring him in. Private room, private chef?
Leaving a school within a couple weeks of committing? Alex Legion anyone?
Sure seems like he is waiting for a spot to open up at Cal.

For those wondering re Kentucky/Swanigan:source says Calipari&staff heavily making efforts to get him but Swanigan more interested elsewhere

"Every kid is interested in Kentucky but Caleb is totally intrigued with playing with Rabb and Brown." From source close to Swanigan
Would love to add him!@KySportsRadio: Interesting RT @JonRothstein: Kentucky has emerged as a legitimate landing spot for 2015 big man Caleb Swanigan, source told @CBSSports.
I agree its an unfair assessment...but still dont think he's a good fit. Sometimes less is more.I think we can agree that this is an unfair assessment?
While we don't need anybody else, in my opinion, it's not like I would be insulted if we picked him up, and he could contribute.
