No, actually, we're not fine.
It's disappointing that we now know we're not quite as good as we had hoped we would be. The OL is not good right now, and we have some other issues that will make us very plain vanilla down the stretch if they cannot be addressed and fixed in a hurry. Like Kirby Smart said tonight, and anyone with a brain knows this much about football, you have to control the lines of scrimmage to be able to playing winning football. If we cannot do a better job protecting Will, this season can take a nose dive in a hurry. I'm not down on the guys themselves as we have some tremendous kids and athletes, but we cannot ask for miracles each time out. This season is going to be determined largely whether this OL can develop and be something akin to the Big Blue Walls we've seen in recent years.
Georgia is the number 1 team in the country and they nearly lost to an unranked team. Does that mean they aren't as good as you thought they were or does it mean that these kids are human and they don't always play their best? Yes, Georgia came back and won and if just one of the bad breaks that went against us had not occurred, we would have won. Many of you would have us to believe that there is no use of us even playing Georgia, but they showed tonight that they can have a bad game too. Bama's QB is hurt and Georgia showed that they are human, so there is a lot of season left, way too much to be giving up on, imho.

Sadly that’s a real possibility. And some may say that’s ok but that’s a let down considering we have one of the best backfields in the country. Absolutely infuriating to be honest.
This is what I don’t get… like, im upset as anyone else, but to give up on this team and season is ridiculous. This isn’t basketball, making the playoffs is so difficult and we’re in the toughest conference. The SEC just eats each other up. But im going to continue watching the season, hoping we win out from this point and see what happens.
It's a credit to Stoops that 9 and 3 is becoming a disappointing season for UK football, which it definitely is this year just like it was last year.
We aren’t going to get there with Stoops. Look at Ole Miss and UT, they are both already better than us and their coaches have been there 2 years.
Nothing has changed actually as long as we beat UT and the rest of the teams we should on the schedule so stop it.

" we will be fine" implies there was little lost yesterday , but more than likely it cost us being 7-0 and getting major nationwide press the next 3 weeks . And the simple deduction we cant get over the larger humps in our program . This was a real big test . Huge I'd say , and we shit the bed . NO the season isnt over , NO I dont want to fire a single soul , just stop that nonsense . The sky isnt falling , but discussing the many failures from yesterday should be fair game .
Yes if we beat tn and finish 10 and 2 that's an improvement and a great season. We beat Florida and tn in first season since whenever and make new years 6.

Stoops is laughing all the way to the bank. Win 7 or 8 games and fans are talking about building a statue. At real football schools those results get you fired! We are a basketball school.

I for one am grateful we are where we are and compete in every game. That Ole Miss games would've been an ass whooping for us historically. Be happy we are rising above our history and have a great coach and are much improved.
We always have great lines. Just sucks the one year we don't we have the best skill players we've ever had. But guess what, we should be able to keep getting these kinds of skill guys now cause they blow up and we use them right. If Stoops stays we just get better every year hopefully. I'm still all in

I don't care about probabilities or odds. If odds or probabilities mattered, we would have lost to Florida. We wouldn't have been within 6 points of Ole Miss or holding them to 3 pts in the 2nd half. We wouldn't have won most of our last 4 bowl games. We wouldn’t have beaten UT in knoxiousville. Wouldn’t have a win streak over UL. We wouldn't land 4 and 5 star prospects over the traditional football teams in our conference and the Big10.
I like this team and think almost all of our goals are still within reach. We just can't go undefeated now. That's it.
I would like to see us and think we still can come out and play disciplined, fundamentally sound football this next weekend and crush the Gamecocks like we should've crushed Ole Miss.
