Kentucky @ Florida 9/10

If we can block Florida for 2.5 to 3 seconds then we absolutely can win this game. We are not Utah. We are very physical and much bigger. Plus we have alot of speed this year.
A quick look at the 2-deep depth charts for UK & Utah along the Offensive Line shows that both teams are about the same size Utah actually has a decent running game and O-line. Here is a comparison for the 2-deep for Utah, UK, and Florida:

I’m not sold on the O coordinator after this game. I thought the answer was obvious and Wright has to be the RB going forward. He can catch outta the backfield, but more importantly he can pass block when our Oline just collapses.
The OC looked really good. The running game was awful but I don’t think it was because he was calling bad plays.

Tell you one thing, the Cats better prepare for the heat. I’m in central Florida now, and my god is it suffocating. I lived down here for a few years but I’ve never seen it like this. Believe it got up to 98 today. Granted this isn’t Gainesville but it’s not far away.

I’m in southern Kentucky. Unreal humidity today. I’m sure it’s worse where you are but I believe our Cats will know what’s coming

I know they have a program for that but I just hope they don’t underestimate it. I lived down here for years so I know how to prepare for it but today shocked the hell out of me.

Just know I want no part of it working outside. Stay cool if you can.

Really glad you've decided to give the OC a fighting chance here. Can only imagine what you said after Stoops first game.
I thought he did pretty good mixing up some looks and plays and again, its his first game at this level calling plays. The only one that got me a little was the call where Will got picked at the goal line. Limited options on that one with no deception at all. Kind of easy to defend. Got to at least play fake to keep the DB from sitting on it there. The pros like to pass on short yardage which I'm not a fan of either so hope that's not a tendency. Show some strength and push it cross from the two yard line in early downs and take the risk of Int out.

The more I look at these teams I just don't see it happening this season while I was nervous about that game and last year's game. My initial reaction is KY is a 6-6 team this season despite getting the early ranking for last year's success.

I don't buy that stuff your OC is saying making it sound like he will have all these good plays for week 2 because he was hiding so much. The O line will definitely be a problem and the only wrinkle I could see helping a little would be running your QB some.

Utah only had some passing yards because of their TE being a bad matchup for our LB and some throws to the RBs. Don't think your offense is a good matchup against our defense. On defense KY looked pretty good but not quite the same as last season to me.
Did you not know the amount of veteran players we have on D, some super seniors, and the depth is two deep quality at all positions on D? Thought our offense would have played better.
