Kentucky @ Florida 9/10

Florida gave up over 200 rushing yards and over 200 passing yards. Utah admits they were off for the game (not their best). SO it should be a shootout, if Levis gets any time to pass. Not sure what we will do about our running game. I expect to see more TE formations with only 2 receivers and a short passing game if we cannot run the ball.

Fire Stoops so we can get back to the basement level? Its a bold strategy Cotton, let's see if it pays off for em
Hey if the fans are good with 10 wins and a New Years bowl every few years he’s your guy. But if he can’t do any better this year, then when?

As we have discussed, uk is most likely not winning a national title or sec title in any of our lifetimes. We would need a Saban hire to have a shot there imo

He was 17 of 24 last night.
I hate to admit this but I'm a Florida fan secondarily. I was born in Orlando and lived there till I was 5. My 4 older siblings were huge Florida fans and still are. I grew up in Kentucky though and I'm the only UK fan. I'm going to the Swamp for my first game there with them this weekend. I'm not downplaying how electric AR is. But his passes are usually behind just a little. That pump fake and pass to a stationary target was straight money. But he's best on the run in scramble mode. It's insane how much better he is this year.

Early weather prediction is thunderstorms at 40% chance of rain. I think as of today that would favor UF

I think our O line struggles down there. We are relying on some very young players to win, That said, I will cheer for UK, and hope I'm wrong.
If we are 4.5 point dog now and If CR doesn't play. I see UK as 6-7 point dog. Just being honest...
Florida relies on young players too. 80% of their roster are underclassmen.

Of course Utah would make excuses. I can't stand that, especially when they actually played great. The media was pumping them up like they'd win fairly easily. I agree that it'll be a high scoring game.

But this is a big road game for our underclassmen. My opinion is our O line struggles, (crowd noise etc.) and based on what I saw Sat.
Of course, I hope I'm wrong. I'd love to win every game.

So then who does that fall on? Isn’t that the end goal? If we’re not rooting for titles, what are we rooting for? Beat Tennessee every few years?
That kinda logic makes no sense to me

😳

It’s crazy how little understanding and appreciation some fans have of what Stoops has built and a how he continues to improve the program.

Now he’s hit his ceiling again because of a loss next week.

Someone has announced that he’s hit his ceiling several times a year since his first 5-7 season. It’s a running joke at this point.

Yet Stoops is on the cusp of breaking the Bear’s record for most wins as a UK HC ever, has won 4 consecutive bowl games, is coming off a top 15 recruiting class and has UK in the top 20 preseason for the 1st time in 45 yrs. Stoops is in his early 50s, he is still young enough to take this program to the top 10 level and compete for a NC.
Will it be this yr? The competition and home games will never be more favorable and our talent level is as good as its ever been overall.
If we win Sat. in the swamp we are going to go on a deep run as I dont see Ole Miss or UT beating us with C Rod and Co.

It’s crazy how some fans take this personal.
whoever said we weren’t appreciative? It’s okay to want more

Who would you propose UK hire that would do better than stoops. Bama, UGA, oh st, and a few others just have way more talent every year. Jimmy's and Joe's buddy. That's where we are lacking when it comes to titles. It isn't coaching. Saban wouldn't so amy better with uks current roster. He is great at recruiting with unlimited resources and surrounding himself with other great coaches. He would need 4 years of top 5 classes B4 he would do any better. I would love to see what stoops could do with sabans resources last 4 recruiting classes

If we can block Florida for 2.5 to 3 seconds then we absolutely can win this game. We are not Utah. We are very physical and much bigger. Plus we have alot of speed this year.

It’s all about the money baby. That’s all that matters. You wanna win? Pay those players. Buy that coach.
It’s literally all you have to do.

Always tough to play this game so early in the year. It's going to be a tall task to beat the Gators, who had a good win tonight against arguably the best team in the PAC-12 in Utah. However, if UK is ever going to win the SEC East we have to beat the Gators, Vols, and Bulldogs in the same season and this is as good a year as any to complete that trifecta.

Too early to tell what kind of hie Napier is going to be, but pulled off a big win in first game and looks like a good hire. Chumlee improved the vols his first year and the would take Ted Bundy if he could catch the ball. Kirby has been successful, so has Stoops, so going 3-0 out of that group is getting tougher

UK upset heavily favored Florida, in week 2, at The Swamp, for their 1st yr head coach in 2018

I predict a Wildcat win Sat. We kept some special stuff under wraps on both sides of the ball. They had to show it all to beat Utah.

UK 24
Gators 20

The more I look at these teams I just don't see it happening this season while I was nervous about that game and last year's game. My initial reaction is KY is a 6-6 team this season despite getting the early ranking for last year's success.

I don't buy that stuff your OC is saying making it sound like he will have all these good plays for week 2 because he was hiding so much. The O line will definitely be a problem and the only wrinkle I could see helping a little would be running your QB some.

Utah only had some passing yards because of their TE being a bad matchup for our LB and some throws to the RBs. Don't think your offense is a good matchup against our defense. On defense KY looked pretty good but not quite the same as last season to me.

Whatever helps you sleep at night bro.

Beyond silly to judge a new OC in game 1, when he unquestionably was calling vanilla plain stuff for Florida armada analyst army to study. Coen game 1 last yr wasn't special. He showed the goods game 2.

I'm confident Cosch Scan will have horrific surprises for Gators next Sat night. Key and Barion are gonna get some jet sweeps.
I was going to post basically the same thing sir, kudos for understanding that UK wasn't about to open the playbook against Miami, at home, lol. You don't give a team like UF any more than than a fraction to watch and gameplan against you.

Everybody tough til they get drilled and driven.

If and that’s a big if the OL improves Kentucky can move the ball in them, Utah moved the ball most of the game, defensively Richardson is going to be a handful, Kentucky can win I’m just not expecting it
They do seem one dimensional on offense. I don't think their WRs are getting a lot of separation, so they have to rely on running, and our Front 7 is designed to shut that down.

Richardson running around making plays is a big part of what they do, he can throw from the pocket but he is much more comfortable running around

Our o-line and d-line aren't ready. Add in CRod being out and UF having a mobile QB and it equals no bueno for the Cats.

Gators - 31
Cats - 20
