Kentucky Basketball Practice Thread

I am positive about Humphries. I think he is a wonderful talent. What I wonder about is how he will find minutes on a team that will clearly be built to run, run, run. He may wind up being exactly as Cal said, a reincarnation of Josh in the event Skal gets screwed by the NCAA.

I have no idea what is so controversial or nit-pickish about that take. Seems fairly innocuous as well as obvious to me. Don't know why that caused the local numbskull population to get their depends in a bunch over it and form their little lynch mob gang to start up their tired old routine of name calling then hypocritically running to the mods when they are the ones that are the problem.

I'm glad they put this practice on TV last night. Now I have basically no reason to watch Madness. I only care about seeing how the players look on the floor. The intros, dancing, Cal's speech, etc. don't interest me much. I actually thought the timing was odd for them to do this before Madness occurred.

I got bored with it after an hour or so, but I thought Skal, Briscoe, and Humphries stood out amongst the new players. Ulis looked like the best player on the floor by a long shot.

Humphries built the hospital he was born in. Guns carry Humphries for protection. Google "Humphries" stuff when they want to know something. /chucknorrismemes

This team will NOT take many lumps this year. They are too talented. If Cal just lets them play, then they will dominate the competition.

Your mandate that "the Humprhies crowd needs to chill" and other words to that effect based on observations in your paragraph above. Nobody needs to chill on anything about ANY player based on anything you have to say. If people want to be excited about Humphries then they have their right to be so, based on THEIR vision, THEIR anticipation of what Humphries can offer to this program, this year, next year, the year after that, maybe the next year, or maybe even another year if the insane possibility of a red-shirt is in the crystal ball of their imagination. But no, you felt entitled to police their comments to your standards of what is acceptable anticipation (i.e. if it isn't practical to expect Humphries to run up and down the floor at least 28 min per game then shut the F up about him), and when you got called out on it you acted like something bad has happened to you . . . boo effing hoo, princess. boo effing hoo

Seriously Bodvar, which one is you.....

Ulis looks ready to go. Humphries is a shooter. I love shooters. Nothing else seems clear at this point.
