Our lineup is all over the place. I guess Mingione will be in the stands for this one as well. I think if you get kicked out you sit out the next game as well.

It will be hard to keep the "consecutive games scoring a run" streak alive with just 7 innings in both games. We didn't score until the 9th Friday.

I get it. You’re trying to jump start a dead offense. But you don’t do it on the weekend. :weary::weary:

Well, Collett took care of the first game. ;-)

I don't understand how anyone gets any consistent when the lineup changes every 5 minutes.

Seriously though... how in the hell is it possible to strike out this much? 4 strikeouts through 2 innings.

We are so fundamentally bad. Schultz pops up a bunt and it goes for out one. He looked atrocious at that. Actually somewhat swung at it. Also, we make no sense... show bunt, then swing, then bunt. Why not just get the damn bunt down?

Good two out hit by Kessler scores Lewis! 2-0 in a short game is pretty huge.

Adams get his first hit of the season on a dying quail that falls just inside the first base line in left between three Rebels. Wind helped make that one tricky and it goes for a double.

Reed hits a 2 run home run!! UK up 4-0!!!

That looked like a routine popup that just kept going. Glad to see that he went oppo and still got enough.

Lewis seeing the ball well and hits a single into the gap in left. Looked great on that swing. Ole Miss going to change pitchers.

Yeah, Adam's hit being a double is pretty funny but he kept running and got there easily. Really happy to see Lewis hitting. His speed is only important if he gets on.

Pitch out gets Lewis, caught stealing. How is it that every team can do a pitch out when we are stealing? Do we just yell out from the dugout "Go for it!"?

That grounder to Reed might have been tough for anyone to handle but Reed never looks slick fielding the ball.

Another base running error to end the inning. DId Schultz run through a stop sign. I couldn't see it.

I give him a pass on that one. That was a rocket that took a bad hop and was across his body.

Hazelwood getting hit hard now. Need to have someone up and ready...

Double play!!! Infield fly and Ole Miss runner goes all the way to second. Silly error by them.

UK was hitting it pretty well in that half. Just missed some big hits. Schultz should have stayed at 3 and we could have possibly done a good bit of 2 out damage.

Ole Miss pulled a UK on that DP. Where was the runner going with 1 out?

Great hustle on a bunt by Cam Hill! Put it down the first base line and beat out the throw. A would be sac goes for a base hit instead. We will get a review.

Good execution on back to back bunts this inning. Rebels going to a new righty now.

Unreal. Dalton Reed doesn't swing at a single strike. Come the heck on!

Lewis pops up. Don't get anything out of it. Reed saved with that home run earlier... but that strikeout was pitiful. Looked at three straight in the same dang place.

I don't like this. Bringing in Carson Coleman. Feel like Hazelwood could have pitched out of that jam.

UK gets a break! Ole Miss runner runs into Kessler as he tries for a grounder and they call him out for interference and it ends the inning.

Not sure that Kessler was interfered with but I'll take it.

They ran into one another. May have been a smart play by Kessler though. He may have kind of helped make that contact with the angle he took.

There goes the shutout. Coleman gives up a single shot. That was back to back that were hit really hard.

Back to back full counts... the first one was a hard drive up the middle where Lewis showed off his range but couldn't throw out the runner. The second one was a hard drive to center the Cam Hill took without a major issue.

Coleman throwing some stuff to hit.
