Just another reason I can't wait until game day. Not only do most UK fans not care for the NBA, but Keion was a team-cancer, and tried to have RUPP Arena's name changed. Piece on him.

I don’t wish him well. He bad mouthed Rupp and wanted to rename the arena. He was a leader in the kneeling nonsense. And then he transferred. Good riddance.

Yea he is maybe one of very few players over decades I honestly didn't like. He said that uneducated thing about rupp and its just ignorance I can't really forgive. He should have read or researched more before he spoke on something he just heard that wasn't true. That said, I wish him well and hope he makes some money.

They wrote a letter to the media, who then immediately went to our players and asked if they agreed with the professors. Brooks took the bait.

I wish the kid well. He said some dumb stuff that was not cool. I don’t think someone should be defined by a stupid comment. I agree with calling it out as stupid when it happens, but holding it against him years later isn’t cool either.

Exactly. I used to work at the UK basketball museum and uninformed people came in all the time talking about Rupp. He wasn’t a bad guy especially for the time, but his name was dragged through the mud all the time.
