KAT says UK all time team is taking any other team's all time no matter what

I'm not sure I want to see the video. What does Shannon Sharpe have to do with UK?

Several years back, ESPN did a basketball encyclopedia. They listed various schools' all time teams. Several examples:

LSU
O'Neal
Bob Pettit
Ruby Macklin
Pete Maravich
Chris Jackson

UCLA
Alcindor
Sidney Wilkes
Marques Johnson
Walt Hazzard
Gail Goodrich

Our all time team is stacked not only with great college players but NBA players as well. Only UNC would compete, and maybe Duke or UConn. They have a solid teams I’m sure. UCLA has great players but most of them are older so they probably wouldn’t stack up as well in the modern game.

In regards to all-time NBA talent, I think you have to give the nod to UCLA. Cheating or not, there's just too much talent there.

They are up there they just have few modern players, where as we have not only do,I ate college players but also NBA players of a high tier in multiple eras as well.

I need to know who our coach would be..
Alcindor and Walton at UCLA, Worthy and Jordon at UNC. Lots of great “all-time” teams out there

If we're talking about current players UK would win going away against any other team. If you're talking all time. the only schools that would be any competition to UK would be UCLA & North Carolina. I would like our chances to beat any of them as long as we're not being coached by John Calipari.

Current (or recent) players, it's not even debatable.

But all-time, I might have to go in order UCLA, UNC, LSU (shocker), and then UK. Our 2nd 5 may be the best, but the starting 5 you have all-time greats from those other schools (Kareem, Walton, Jordan, Worthy, Shaq, Pettit, Maravich).

LSU is an interesting one, their top 5 are right top 3-4 without question. But their success is WAY behind the other schools.

Sleeper team : (maybe a 9 seed)
Georgetown would be solid. : Ewing, Mourning, Mutombo, Sleepy Floyd, AI, David Wingate, Reggie Williams, Michael Sweetney, Michael Jackson, Othella Harrington, Michael Graham, Roy Hibbert, Jeff Green, Greg Monroe, Otto Porter. Defense would be off the charts, and Iverson and Sleepy Floyd solid back court. You wouldn't think to have the Hoyas up there which is why I listed them. How are you going to score on them with Ewing, Mourning, Mutombo, Harrington, Hibbert and Graham among others defending the inside ?

Kansas: Wilt Chamberlain, Joel Embiid, Danny Manning, Paul Pierce, JoJo White

Damn good starting five, but KU's bench would be rather weak. They've produced more great coaches (Naismith, Phog Allen, Rupp, Dean Smith, and Larry Brown) than players.

This, UK's depth is where UK would overwhelm any other alumni team. As long as we aren't being coached by John Calipari.

I love that someone said "No" to the Shaedon/Shannon Sharpe joke. This place cracks me up sometimes.
