All I know is UK has to be able to sign players like Kash and Harris out of the state of Kentucky if we ever want to climb the SEC. It will be a real smack in the face if Kash goes to SC. Just like Harris.
He said the school he chose felt like his "home away from home". That worries me.
What worries me is that he said that the most important factor is academics. It's well known he wants to study criminal justice. UK doesn't offer an criminal justice degree, but South Carolina does.
His buddy Drake Jackson was hosting the second hour of the big blue insider on WLAP tonight and was one of his guests along with Landon Young and a couple of players from Bryan Station.Under that fearful scenario, why would he visit UK today?
All visiting athletes put on the local jersey during their trip. How in the world can anyone conflate that with game playing? I hope Daniel decides to play for Kentucky, but the decision is his. It is really goofy for people to act like he is playing games.Didn't Harris do the same thing with wearing UK gear? With that said I hope that Kash isn't just playing games like Harris did. If what he said was right about deciding on Alabama during his visit to the Iron Bowl then he just used UK to get tickets to football and basketball games for the next couple of months. That just wasn't cool in my books.
Harris played UK like a fiddle. He had no intention of ever going to UK, but used them for every perc and bit of attention he could get.All visiting athletes put on the local jersey during their trip. LOL! You can assign whatever motives you wish. I don't have as much suspicion about the motives of an 18 year old as you do. Harris acted no differently from the way thousands of other high school athletes behave. They get 5 visits. He took his visits and made his decision. The rest is just the fallout. You can never make everyone happy.Harris played UK like a fiddle. He had no intention of ever going to UK, but used them for every perc and bit of attention he could get.

No. DA is right on this one...Harris knew after the iron bowl...yet he continued to string UK along...even the day before his announcement on social media retweeting fans excited about him joining the BBN.
Going out of state to a traditional power or staying in state for a rebuild job are completely different - he knew what he wanted to do for a long time.
I'm very impressed that you can read the mind of a teenager and determine his motives from afar, based on news reports. That's quite a skill to have. Most people I know can't tell what a teenager is thinking when he or she lives under their own roof. But even if you were right, that is the way thousands of teenage athletes behave every year. And what difference does it make? They have a right to their own college decision, and they make it. Some people will be happy, other people will be unhappy. You can never please everyone. We have the players we have. Harris isn't 1 of them, but we are in pretty good shape. I believe Kash Daniel will pick Kentucky, or already has, because of the way he described his decision. But if he doesn't, that's his decision to make and live with. It amazes me how football fans trivialize these decisions as if it is really any if our business. Let Stoops take care of it.No. DA is right on this one...Harris knew after the iron bowl...yet he continued to string UK along...even the day before his announcement on social media retweeting fans excited about him joining the BBN.

Daniel has said he is announcing on July 4th because he feels he doesn't need to take any other visits because his mind is made up. Harris on the other hand said his mind was made up and then postponed his decision. Just because other kids do it doesn't make it right. Kash is handling it the right way and Harris didn't.
