His "I'm the biggest rock star on the planet" comment is just one of a hundred stupid things he's said over the years. I really wish people would stop putting money in this no-talent clowns pocket, because frankly I think people are getting tired of his constant ego-fueled rants.

I think David Crosby said it best when he said "Kanye West can't write, sing or play, so I have trouble with him as anything but a poser." Well said.
 
As long as he is bringing in those millions what you, or any of us have to say doesn't matter one bit.

I'm not a Kanye fan. He does however write his lyrics. He doesn't play a traditional instrument but he creates his music through the use of modern instruments appropriate for hip hop. In terms of his genre, I don't think anyone can deny his talent and vision.
 
He was a creative genius. Now he's just biting everyone's style. He's old. He's a dad. He sold out for the big bucks. Can't blame him (unless you're a true artist). He married Kim Kardashian for crying out loud. Boy needs some three six mafia in his life. He's gone.

He's obviously talented, but damn he could use just a tad bit of humility.

Maybe it's just part of his schtick, part of his act.
 
His discography outside of 808's and Heartbreaks is one of the best of all time. To call him talentless is a joke.

You can be good at what you do and be a pompous ass. Look at Michael Jordan.
 
Kanye either makes a good song that I can listen to or it sucks. There is no middle ground. His new album was the latter.
 
Formerly great producer, average (closer to above average) rapper.

College Dropout and Late Registration are both undeniable classics, with CD being an all timer.

It is my understanding that many younglings enjoy Graduation and MBDTF, but I've never been a big fan of either. Yeezus and 808s are poop. Watch the Throne was meh at best.

Watch the throne was a cheap whore dressed in lavish Target attire. It was fake as shit. Jay didn't even rap but on one song or two....the one with Bey that had that 90's feel and maybe the one about his girl with the Biggie sounds ..daddy dearest or something. The rest he just let whoever ghost rites for Kanye jot down some ignorant shit with no soul. He needed to be "cool" again. He kind of failed because he's not the salesman Kanye is. Jay ain't really bout that f-boi life, but he's bout his money, so he'll dabble in it. Kanye married f'n Kim Kardashian. He's a cheap whore who will convince himself to do anything that will bring him for headlines and money.

MBDTF is a masterpiece of sorts, imho. He put him where he is today. It balanced that bridge between old heads and the new f-boi generation. He did it well and broke through to a new audience. Then he got the taste of f-boi fame and never looked back.

The F'er even rips off clothing designs now. No shame. He took a minimalist cheap as shit nike shoe, and sold it for like 350. He designed hobo clothes.

I do sometimes think he's just trolling the world an cashing checks, but then I go back to the fact that he wifed the biggest whore in the industry. And tried to wife one before her (amber rose)...then Wiz f'n Khalifa married that one. She broke Kanyes heart and married a thing called Wiz Khalifa. Probably took all kinds of money and jewels from those 2 clowns.
 
The trivial actions of alley trash do not concern me in the slightest. If you patronize these imbeciles then you deserve to have them mocking you all the way to the bank. This gutter rat will never have a nickle of my money and thus he is of no consequence other than to babbling prepubescent MTV addled Kardashian/Jenner watching idiots.

Looking at it objectively, I have to say Jay is the best ever and for years I was his biggest fan. These last 10 years have not helped to support my stance. Watch the Throne was mailed in and was an attempt to stay relevant, IMO.
 
Nobody can stay on top as long as Jay. Blueprint 3 wasnt that good, WtT was decent, Magna Carta Holy Grail was decent.

Im bummed to see that he isn't coming out with anything good anymore.

I think the majority of rap is garbage especially the recent stuff and don't think scumbags like Kanye are even remotely as talented as someone like Outkast.

I thought Yeezus was solid. Not the best but I enjoy it. Agree with 808s. Auto Tune ruins everything
