Kansas

How many Final Fours do we have since 2015?
Yeah, that's kind of my point. People have been throwing a fit about no Final Fours for a number of years now. People would have thrown the same fit if it was Self coaching and we didn't get to a Final Four for almost a decade.

I think Self is the best coach in the country right now. But his performance in between his two titles would have caused some major issues with this fanbase. This isn't a defense of Calipari, but the expectations here truly are too high.

Kansas could end up with 9 losses, I posted in another thread Saturday they would lose several more. IDGAF where the losses are, home, away, in a barn in Poland, 9 losses they should NOT be a top 4 seed. Duke, the same. They will end up with 7 or 8 with only a couple good wins, they should not be in the top 4. ACC will do them no favors as far as quality wins. We are struggling, but to think there are not teams head and shoulders above everyone else is just foolish. I will also go on record NOW and state, UCONN is not winning it all again. It is tough and they will find that out in the Elite 8. They are now the hunted and not the hunter.

Self would have been fired here if he didn't have a contract that's dumb as hell (hypothetical if he was here wirh no long timr contract). Cal would have been fired no later than st Pete if not for same reason.

Funny you mention his contract, because his current contract truly is a lifetime deal for him. It's a five year deal that continuously adds a year to the contract at the end of each season. So his contract always has five years left on it. For all intents and purposes he's on a lifetime contract that pays him $11 million a year.

They probably could lose 9. I think we will finish the season 21-10 or 20-11 another double digit losing season.

Well unless Kansas wins the Big12 tournament and the NCAA (they won't), they to will end up with DD losses.

This could be a year like 2001 when we were a 2 seed with 9 losses.

I don't think we'll quite reach 2 but there's a ton of parity this season to where you could still get a very good seed with a bunch of losses.
