We will play zone and play closer to their outside shooters. Cal will freeze up and then say something funny to Arkansas fans about “We don’t have to make them all, but we can’t miss them all “
Enjoy it while it lasts. Remember, UK with Cal beat KU AT KU by double digits and then proceeded to crash and burn. But, keep drinking that koolaid.

Our opponent was much better than what you played tonight. Surely you are not running off feeling like you just beat the best team in college basketball.
Shows how dumb your fanbase is. In a tournament of 64 the odds ALWAYS favors the field. That's why winning the thing is so hard. I thought you guys knew ball?!
That’s what I’m saying, this game dynamic totally changes with them in the lineup. I know Aidoo was out as well, but having Dickenson inside changes this entire game. Griffin is really good as well.

That Kansas team without starters wasn't anything close to a top 25 team. Lol.
One of us has to be and it sure isn't you. You beat an overrated KU squad without two of its starters in a scrimmage at home. If you knew ball, you know this means what half of your fan base is.
No I’m saying Arkansas will lose 9-10 games and a couple you would never expect. I guarantee after one of these random December games where they lose to Louisiana Southwest you won’t be over here talking about how good they look tonight.

None of these exhibition games mean crap. Our first real game is Duke, Arkansas first real game is against Baylor and KUs is versus unc.
Kansas will be fine. Self normally is completely beside himself in a loss, but he knows they are really short-handed right now.

That was a much bigger issue last year for him than his critics are willing to admit. Anyone who really thought he wouldn't have made a big leap coming into this year if he stays healthy is just letting anti-Wagner/anti-Cal color their opinion.
Of course they will be and anybody who says otherwise just hates Kansas. I mean he’s like a one seed every year because they just keep winning. They may not be the best team but we all know exhibitions don’t mean anything. We looked crazy good a lot last year in the summer trip and before the Kansas game we blew.
Aidoo being inserted instead of Z/Brazile tonight will slow them down and clog things up a bit.
Arkansas will be really good. SEC is going to be a monster. The pressure is going to be off Cal/those former UK guys in a major way and more importantly Cal really doesn’t have top draft prospects he has to feature even if they stink.

I think that's a pretty fair statement by Dykes. He was sick of being here and most of the fanbase was sick of having him here. It doesn't matter how good the job is. Both him and UK have a chance at a fresh start and I think both parties are probably excited about it. Not saying he'll win a bunch of titles, but if this turns out to be an Andy Reid to KC type situation for him I wouldn't be surprised.
Yep. As I keep reminding folks. We beat KU at the Phog by double digits. Ended up getting Petered. And lo and behold, who was the champ that year?
I think after tonight’s performance I would expect Arkansas to move into the Top-5, especially if Kansas is the #1 team in the nation. Does that make you feel any better?
I think Arky will really struggle against teams that zone them, or present decent bigs under the basket. I want to see Fland get his axx handed to him.

Actually, knowing you, you're serious. And you're welcome to it.
But basketball started among men at college in America and every other incarnation of it was always inferior. At least until college decided to sell itself out and start changing into the NBA. You may get your way in that we'll eventually cave in and fall in line behind the league in terms of the play periods too. But it won't be an improvement any more than any of the rest of it.
(Except for the three-point shot. I will give you that that was a legit improvement. Although it's tough to say who was actually following who there, since college actually invented that and pioneered it forty years earlier; it just didn't take.)
