Just to get some football talk going

LSU is too. Do you know anything? I mean you honestly had no idea Jancek was on your staff for the last few years. No one is counting championships. Sorry that UGA doesn’t have good boosters. Probably why your facilities were stuck in the 80s until the SEC Network welfare checks started cashing. And Brock has a Raptor too. His dads a HS coach/teacher. Doubt he or his homemaker wife are clearing high 6 or 7 figures.

Jancek is not at UGA, try LSU. Who has a BB program under investigation for buying players. Not football. Just because the vols have to buy kids doesn't mean everyone else does. Yeah I am sure you are going to be excited with the Hansen's turning the vols into the SEC's version of the Browns, that has to be exciting. Being such a huge UT fan why don't you live there?

LSU BB is under investigation for buying players, not football, they are under investigation for Title IX infractions. Jancek is not a coach at UGA. Brock's dad is a retiree from one system and has a full time job at a private school, so yeah he can afford a used Ford. Kendall Milton's dad has a job too, you want to point out his vehicle too? Some people have jobs and get their kid a vehicle, much less that a college education. Just because UT is and has always been one of the dirtiest programs in the conference and has to pay kids to live in that cesspool of a town and state, kids actually like Athens. Everyone else is going to enjoy watching Hanson turn the vols into the Browns. Do you think he will change the mascot and get rid of that putrid orange?
LSU football is under investigation too. Go read the Notice of Allegations. The NCAA doesn’t punish or investigate Title IX anymore. The department of education does. Remember when Odell was dropping c notes to players after the Natty? That’s just one instance under investigation. And Jancek worked for UGA until Brian Kelly got to LSU and hired him away. You claimed he had been working for UT and that wasn’t the case. It’s Haslem and he’s not the only super booster Tennessee has. Charlie Ergen has more money on his own than UGAs entire booster group combined.

I’ve lived in Tennessee before. I live right across the state line back in GA because my stepfather is 72 yrs old and I help my mom take care of him not that it’s really any of your business. Got any other brain busters or do you just wanna continue being wrong about shit?

Even though Levis is good, I think Kentucky goes run heavy this year if the line plays to a high standard.

Georgia's offense will be scary as their young pass catchers are studs.

I hate playing Missouri every year cause they are in love with the screen pass.

South Carolina seems to be improving

Vandy will be a win

Tennessee
How do you define run heavy? Last year we were 58% run. Stoops has stated he wants to be balanced, so I can't imagine them running more than we did last year. I would expect more passing, given the upgrade of talent in the WR room, assuming we have tackles that can block the edge.

Young pass catchers are studs? Brock has to get healthy. The rest of the pass catchers were like 400 yards and 4 TDs.

TN's got their QB...now anything less than 3 straight Heismans and 3 straight NCs and Rocky Top becomes Rocky Flop.

I really liked the latest Levis post-practice interview. Why? CHECKDOWNS TO THE RB!!

Will emphasized they have already used RB checkdowns more this spring than they have his entire career at UK. Now, part of that is obviously him making the decision to checkdown, but sounds like Coach Scang is emphasizing it. Which is great! It's one thing you see every NFL team do constantly, and you have to be able to check it down when your options aren't there. It really hurt Will last year because he held the ball too long. It's hurt every QB we've had here. If we can get a QB and RBs who can turn checkdows into first downs, man we are in business!

I really like this team's potential. Will our OL be good to great? Can we find players to cover WRs? Does Will Levis take that next step, and can the WRs help him do that? I'm betting YES on most of that, and it's because we have the system, leaders, and coaches in place to get shit done.

We keep putting up solid seasons, flirting around 10 wins...one of these years we're going to POP and the SEC-E is gonna be sad about it.

Tennessees offense will be top 10 almost every year under Heupel. Not saying it leads to titles or awards but it’ll lead to a lot of points.

Up to 2 mil a year if he’s as marketable as a 7 figure qb? Worth it. He will bring in some talent with him.
Just what we need in college ball. Someone, whoever is making the decisions about the money, decides he isn't performing to the $2mil level. The kid disagrees, decides to hold out. I've said it before and I truly believe it, all of this stuff needs to blow up in everyone's face as rapidly as possible.

The market decides. If his autograph and memorabilia and t shirt/gear isn’t selling, he doesn’t make money. Your QB has a deal very similar to it with a Tennessee memorabilia company.

Truth be known they are most likely taking care of you. But that doesn't change Jancek is at LSU. 72 isn't so bad, I made it past that pretty well.

Doesn’t seem like it. Might wanna get your dementia checked. You claimed Heupel hired Jancek just the other day when in reality it was your school and he’d still be there if LSU wasn’t better at paying coaches than UGA.

Nah, he doesn't. I don't really believe what you're saying either. No way that kid signed a deal that has him waiting for a shirt to sell to get his money. Levis deal is guaranteed, one of the big differences with Levis deal, he was already at UK when he inked his deal.

HS kids in California can sign NIL deals. UK isn’t blocked from recruiting the Golden State too. He got an advance on the money but his payments monthly are based on what sells.

My hope is UK plays hard every game win or lose. No stinker games like Mississippi State last year. That game stunk and was hard to watch.

I loved coen. My only two criticisms at all were basically one criticism which caused the other:

He dialed up way too many shots. From early on, teams adjusted and started playing two deep. Made it virtually impossible to consistently complete those. Later in the year, he adjusted and we started completing some explosive passes by not continually trying to go over the top

He didn't stick with the run, mostly because of taking too many shots. Several games we could've run the ball way more but just didn't.

That said - we'll see if there will really be check downs. We heard much the same last spring and never saw an actual check down. The rb catches were all well schemed plays and most resulted in tds

Yea, I just don’t know how much of that was Coen or Levis not getting through his progressions. He tended to lock on to one guy, and that was that.

I remember Coen talking about it often, and we saw it on film, Will just wasn’t making the right reads.

And maybe that’s where the check down can really help….Say option #1 isn’t there, welp just dump it down. Don’t even bother with #2, just automatically dump it to JuTahn out in space, and hope for easy 7 yards. Just simplify things a bit.

Anyway, I don’t think Will is/was really good at that, but I look forward to seeing how he’s grown as a QB. I think he’s a step away feom

Yes some was not seeing the field. However when you know your QB has that issue, time to change up the calls. He eventually did and we took off. It just took a few games to finally do it
