So….. being bored today I watched the Tennessee game from last year and one thing came to my mind.
We forget last year.
All this love our front 7 are getting and Tennessee made them look silly. I mean silly.
Zero pass rush.
Zero resistance
Wide open receivers
Running thru holes big enough to drive a truck thru.
Scored almost at will. Usually in 7 plays or less.
Brad White is not good.
They stopped themselves with penalties mostly.
It’s a good thing we were so slow and shortened games. The offense looked OK, moved the ball slowly. 15-20 play drives. Shortened the game. Then BOOM.. they score in 6 plays.
Where is all this love for our defensive front coming from because they looked like a middle school defense here.
Brad brought some pressure in the second half and they did better but with a regular 4 man rush we did less than nothing.
It was embarrassing watching our front 4 get totally stonewalled at the LOS. This includes big Deone. Just zero push.
Expectations adjusted.
Before commenting… you must rewatch this game. Your attitudes will be adjusted right after the 80 yard 1:34 TD before halftime.
20 yards a clip, Zero pressure, 4-6 seconds to survey the field, 7 plays, 80 yards after we scored and left them a little over a minute.
