Not watching the game, but looking at the ESPN gamecast I see Creighton had a 3 point lead with 6:20 to go in the 1st and a mere 4:10 later they lead by 18 which has pretty much been the margin ever since.

I don't know how they won as many games as they did, Hepburn is pretty good but out of control and a ball hog. He can help you and hurt you as well, their fans held true to their reputation, crybabies and sore losers.
I told some on this board that Creighton may beat UL. LOVE IT ! UL played in the weakest conference and it showed it to be true today.
After a Creighton timeout at 28-25 they came out smoking threes. Quick 12-0 run. Cards were toast.

No reason to lump us in with them. We have been and always will be far superior to them no matter what. Recent tournament struggles don't put us in their category. I can love when they lose without equating it to anything we do. Most UK fans do.

Playing an experienced coach and experienced roster who runs great offense is a little different than playing Boston College and California.
Creighton just played great. UL was never able to do anything to make them uncomfortable. Sometimes that’s how it goes. May not have worked but UL should have started pressuring them or at least extending the defense very early in the game. I imagine that’s what Auburn will do.
Louisville has only one NCAA Tournament win since 2009.

Extending the defense and added pressure is NEVER a bad idea and almost always makes things better. I know thats not always easy to do 40 minutes and if the other guys are not shooting it well its not as necessary but man I'm not gonna see too many go through the nets before I start asking my guys to pick up the pressure on and off the ball.
My thing has always been if the guy you're guarding is able to face up on you with or without the dribble you arent close enough. Job one turn him around sideways, job two get him to pick up his dribble. Just eliminates so many options for the buy with the ball to shoot, pass or drive comfortably. Nobody likes pressure, everybody loves space.
