Did Huggins tell him to hold out for Mitchell weeks ago and that he was going to do something to get fired? Cals last several years are the reason for negative predictions. He’s also going to battle mostly with players who have never battled before. It’s a very probable outlook. So you feel otherwise apparently so if we fail to produce again this year will you hold cal responsible or just make more excuses for him?

Cason Wallace underperformed a great deal of his freshmen season. I really don’t care about his NBA preparation nor any of the incoming freshmen’s NBA preparation this coming season. I do care how well they play and win big games for UK. Saying cal was holding out for a player like Mitchell is laughable. Again if not for Huggins getting canned, Mitchell would not even be transferring. Real Nostradamus cal is. Too bad he can’t teach his teams do the simplest of things like run out of bounds plays or play a zone (something all players learn in the 6th grade).

Wallace underperformed? I guess that's why he went 10th in the draft last week. Cal knew that some very good players would become available later in the process. That's exactly what happened.
I think it's interesting that you would criticize a young player who played well and caused no problems last season. You should be glad that a very good post player became available for UK this late. Instead, you want to rant and rave about how he became available. I've said it once. I'll say it again. The hate Cal cult is a trip!

Don't let a Cal lover put you on the defensive. Cal doesn't receive half the criticism that he deserves. He isn't very good at making excuses for Cal; he is just persistent.

Also does seem to confirm that nothing about the recruiting pitch or when you are there centers around kentucky, the program, or it’s tradition. More about individual goals and getting to the next level. I’m not saying anything positive or negative about it but that is what Randle says. That explains players leaving at the first opportunity no matter how good the opportunity and transfers imo.

I kind of took that in the context of how he treats his players during practices and games. I dont think Cal is as reluctant to adapt to the changing college landscape as some make him out to be. You could tell by Randles words how much it bothered Cal when they took their first loss that year.
