Totally agree, but figure even if that is the plan, it was not absolutely necessary to clarify quickly.

His build reminds me of a young Art Still. From the same state. He isn't as tall though.

It was stated that the staff wanted to get at least one guy in this class to directly replace Bud's spot on the roster and try to build him into the Bud Dupree of the future. This guy could be just that. A PURE pass rushing OLB. It's not going to happen right away. Will almost certainly take a redshirt year to add some bulk and strenght but he has all the tools to be a excellent pass rusher. Stoops, Eliot and Brumbaugh will coach him up!

I don't think that's it. Allen is the same size as Kobie Walker. In a 3-4 system, he is an outside linebacker.

I wasn't suggesting fraud, fwiw, just especially keen concern that he not be mistaken for a DE recruit.
