Let’s see what he says tonight. To be fair to him he’s been high on the Cats all year. So has Dauster and Fanta. The only reason any of them have gotten off the wagon is injuries which I can understand. He said if Butler was 100% he would pick us.

Yeah he's been pretty great about UK this season. I can't blame him much for thinking we would lose with how beat up we are. If we were healthy he would probably predict us going to the final four. I think it's more a credit to Pope and our players than it is Goodman being stupid. We overcame pretty significant odds, all things considered.
The wisdom of all bettors had UK as a 2.5 dog.
I seen that, the complete opposite of what he predicted lol. We handled them pretty much throughout the game

Why do you guys care so much when some talking head picks against UK? First of all, no one really cares what those people have to say. And secondly, even if people cared, people pick games wrong sometimes. It's not a big deal. Certainly nothing to harass him on Twitter over.

Goodman is a big Pope fan. He doubled down even in that post-game that ILL is more talented, but it's b/c of Pope's coaching that they won. He even mentioned that Pope should be a coach of the year candidate b/c of the performance on the season as a whole.
That’s honestly why I’m so excited about this team!! This is likely going to be Pope’s least talented roster even next year we already have athletes coming in. To win like this with guys from Drexel and other small schools? Amazing! Wait until he starts getting athletes we’ll be able to be Bama and FL…
