I don't follow football recruiting like I do basketball recruiting. But I've heard that Wills is a 100% mortal lock for UK. Has anyone else heard this? If this is true, when does he commit? And what kind of recruiting impact will this have, especially for skilled position players? I mean what quarterback, running back or wide receiver wouldn't want potentially the top offensive lineman in America blocking for them.

I'd have to put that right up their with sure thing and done deal..............We do have a good shot.

Good chance he signs with UK, have to watch for late visits to OM and AU, when they get desperate to sign someone.

The Oline recruiting has been incredible. Stoops has mentioned that he realizes recruiting will really take off if the Cats start winning. A great line will lead to more wins. Wins will help significantly with Wills. The circle of life.

To say he is a high priority for the staff would be a gross understatement. Right now Kentucky appears to be in pretty good shape, but we have a long way to go until February 2017 and a lot can happen between now in then, so no way I would use the lock term just yet.

I'm curious as to what there is to hoops recruiting. There's like 15-20 guys UK is interested in & people obsess over every breath of so few. That's it. Why so much about so few? Strange.

Look forward to the day our OL is:

LT-Young
LG-Jones
C-Jackson
RG-GAA
RT-Wills

Thats one nasty OL....

That could be a long wait if you are talking about starters, in 17 5.9 four star Leavitt should still be here and starting, so even if we get them all 18 might be the first year they all start.

Not a bad thing having Leavitt with two years experience.

16 much better, but 17 better still and maybe 18 even better although we lose Leavitt because of the overall much more experience.

I hope we sign Wills. But people who say this is a lock are dreaming. Wills' recruitment is likely do be decided late. Yes, Kentucky has a good chance. But nowhere near a lock.
