Jayden Quaintance has arrived

Key thing here is that he combined his official visit with move in and is ready to get started on 2nd phase of his rehab here in Lextown. If he has his ROM (Range of Motion) back already he is ahead of the game (saw that somewhere else not here). It will be building the muscles up to protect that knee, keep up on ROM as that is a daily thing with this type of surgery. Love the fact that he got here first to get started here at UK.

Wish someone would suggest to Pope to measure all players with their shoes off and on and list two heights this coming season so we know their true height.

This guy Pope is moon walking on Mars right now!!! This off season sure feels "Championship Mentality" with the team coming in. JQ 's approach was about UK coach Pope and staff. Reese Potter commitment was huge! Lexington roots, and bleeds blue. Hawthorne ,once again Pope and staff made his decision easy, and he grew up loving UK!! They all, including all incoming freshmen/portal players have echoed similar sentiments about getting #9 this season.
Moving in and official visit! He wants to be ready for the start of the season! His game is effortless! . Ecstatic to see him in espn top 10 ,in a UK uniform, before he leaves for the NBA.

Whatever.....it is obvious due to your hand wringing in the Aly Khalifa thread.
LMAO, because I think he should get to play 4 years when other guys are getting 5th and 6th years? Lol, tell me you can come up with more than that!

I hope he does play! I also hope he sucks, is a team cancer and causes them to lose every game. Thinking the guy should get an equal opportunity and wanting him to succeed or liking UL are two very different things. You may want to learn something about that.

I keep getting real positive vibes for this team.

It's going to be Oweh & Lowe's team, much like last year's team was Oweh's and Butler's. I believe we will look at Kam Williams coming in as the best sixth man in the game and a dead eye shooter, much like in the role of Brea last year, just with better handles, driving ability and defense. Mo D and Aberdeen will give much needed experience and athleticism as well as defense, rebounding and scoring too. Freaky freshmen coming off the bench, Chandler, Garrison, Noah, with solid experience and the chance to take another huge step up.... Jelavic, Hawthorne..... wow, it's an embarrasment of riches, actually.

I expect the biggest story laying in wait will be Jayden Quaintance, however. His story may be the story of how great this team will be and what they will ultimately accomplish this upcoming year.

I'm boldly thinking everyone is going to be surprised that he will be ready by the start of the season. Will he be? Is the question. I got a suspicion he will be ready from the first game. Even if he isn't ready right away, his entrance into the lineup will open up so many things for our team, it's hard to say just exactly how valuable he will be, considering we have such talent surrounding him.

But the bottom line for me is that I think he's going to be a lottery pick, we'll end up with 4 first round NBA draft picks from the team after next year, and #9 ???

well, folks, #9 is within sight, and I'd say with Coach Pope, it's just a matter of time.

We shall see. We shall all see.

*He looks like a killer, but talks like Steve Urkel.
Standing over fools after dunking on them it'll still work.
