I don’t care about the Jay Williams thing. He was just blabbering and it came out all incoherent and people misunderstood him. The whole Seth Greenberg thing is weird though. He’s acting like Cal is his brother.
It is what it has Always been with ESPN. They instruct their talking heads to irritate the BBN for viewer and webpage spikes. ESPN know BBN directs the ship with ratings.

Greenberg can suck it. That guy 100% thought Cal was going lead Ark to a FF and UK would fall off a cliff. I hate Ark with all my heart and hope they lose out in the SEC and Greenberg continues to lap it up.

I hope Matt really takes him to task tomorrow, or at least explains where the UK fanbase is coming from. But I have doubts because it's still two ESPN boobs (Matt's not bad, but not great either).
The funny thing is, you can always tell if what you're doing is a good idea, if your enemy hates it. You keep a crappy QB and your rival is fine with it? That means they're reveling in your bad decision making. So to see these two be upset that Cal is struggling, and were fine without him.. it tells me they're mad that UK is doing so well with Pope in year 1. Notice how they almost loved the fact that we were stuck with Cal, and how they'd say "he's still a good coach!".. yeah because we sucked with him at the end. Seems line a bunch of nonsense to me. We already had a thread saying this wasn't what he said and most agreed with jwill.

Neither Greenberg nor Williams matter. Neither are changing the outcome of any UK games. And no high-level recruits are studying Greenberg or Williams takes to make their decisions. Rent free…
If he comes in there and starts defending Seth then I could see things getting heated but he’ll say he misspoke and has in the past but will never admit to being in the wrong. I hope Matt asks him about the “be careful what you wish for BBN” cause I remember him saying that when Oakland pimp smacked us. Curious to see the approach Matt takes cause he does work for espn as well but I really hope he goes off again like yesterday.
