Anyone seen him play?
25 pts 7 ast 5 steals last night vs Eastern Mich.
15 ppg on the season.
Pretty sure this guy will be available in the portal as a possible replacement for Butler.
Not my first choice, that would be either Thornton, Dent, or Stirtz.
Thornton may stay put at OSU
Dent probably tests his draft stock as could Bennett S.
It will be harder this year to get a true stud out of the portal.

I think it’s very good chance Thornton leaves OSU

Tell me a little about Thornton. Know nothing about him. Is he quick? Can he shoot and can he guard quick players? Size too. Thanks.

6' 2", 215 lbs. Dropped 30 pts on us on Dec. 21, 2024 in the game against Ohio St. Pretty complete college PG.

Campbell has set the school record for steals. If not him, we still need a thief or two.

Seems that everyone thinks that mid major players are going to be the only players in the portal. There be some power 5 players that are preforming well this year in the portal.
Good point. I think it's just that we all assume (rightly) that any mid-major player with a chance to jump up to one of the top programs will take that opportunity. With players from other top Div. I programs I suppose it's more of an unknown what they may do. Or at least that's kind of my thought process.

I think it will be just the opposite as I think the portal will have a lot of players to pick from.

I would love to have him in Lexington. He is tough and strong. Just what we need to lead the way in the rugged SEC, IMHO.

Him and the guy from UAB have become my top 2 portal wants for next year. The UAB guy is named lendenborg.

I think I would split the difference between you and SkyPrince1, in that I agree that a top (maybe the top) CBB program like UK will have quite a few really good options to pick from out of the portal. But that may not be the same for lower-tier Div. I programs or those with a comparatively small NIL budget.

If he comes, I hope he brings Mobley with him.
Ohio St's parts are definitely better than it's whole as they are on the wrong side of the bubble now.
Thornton, Mobley, Royal, and Stewart would all receive heavy interest if their in the portal or they could all give it another run next year.
