The wind was gusting 20-40 mph. Kicking a 47 yarder into that wind wasn’t smart coaching. The second one was down the middle. The wind got as it did Missouri’s kicker.

How'd the visit go? Not the best of circumstances all around. . That was a nasty night period.Kellan has two Field goals so far tonight in Trinity’s playoff game. From 51 and 38 yards.
Visit went well despite everything. My sister said they had the best setup of anyplace he’s been. They all went back into the recruiting room at halftime and watched on the big screens and had more food. Said the food was better than anywhere he’s been too. For what that’s worth. He’s been to Cincinnati, Purdue, Louisville and Miami, OH. so far. Miami, OH called him on the bus ride home from his game Friday night and gave him his first PWO offer. I think more offers will come in after the December signing period when schools are looking to fill out classes for the Feb signing period and after the season. Kickers get the table scraps when it comes to scholarship offers. How'd the visit go? Not the best of circumstances all around. . That was a nasty night period.

Congrats n best of luckTrinity's placekicker is my nephew.
In his playoff game last friday, All kickoffs were touchbacks or out of the end zone, made all his extra points and a 41 yard FG.
Trinity's season hasn't been great. Fans and families aren't happy with the new coach who took over for Beatty. he's mismanaged some games. Kellan has great accuracy, but his protection has been bad this year, he's had a few blocked. He's got range to 60+ yards. He had an individual camp at UK because he couldn't make the main camp. They put him through all the drills they put the campers through and he outperformed all of them. Kicked a 60 yarder (granted it was inside the Nutter Fieldhouse) but he impressed them, but unfortunately now he can't get them to respond to him about attending a game, (even though they told him to take his pick) I'm kinda pissed about that. He has a lot of family hoping he could wear the blue and white, but more than likely he winds up somewhere else. Wherever he goes they're getting a gem. Super proud of the young man. He has a real good and disciplined head on his shoulders as well. Puts in overtime in the weight room and on the practice field, has very good grades, and works a job part time too.
The long snapper is as much to blame as the kicker.Ruffolo's problem is obviously mental, but he has had a month to get it fixed. Apparently he can't. That cost us the Ole MS game and almost cost us the MO game too. If Stoops gives up on Ruffolo, which is overdue, Chance Poore should get the first opportunity. Poore already handles kickoffs. He has a strong leg, and he is a senior. Fans may not like him, but fans know nothing about him. Poore stuck around and stayed loyal.
Joker gave up on Joe Mansour. Then Stoops came in and gave him a chance. Mansour had a good senior season for Stoops.
Either way, Smith will become the FG kicker in 2023. If Poore can't handle it, Smith could get promoted sooner.
Nope. It’s unfortunate UK isn’t giving him the attention he deserves. I sent Coach Matsakis an email, but no response. He visited Miami, OH again for their game this past Tuesday. Purdue says they’re down to him and one other kid, but won’t decide till after the December signing period. He seems to be the clubhouse favorite there though, so my premonition is that’s where he’ll end up. I hate it that we would let a homegrown kid, who is in the State record books as one of the best kickers in state history statistically, get away.Any further word on your nephew?
